What's on your Friday Menu RNYers?Halloween/Fall Photo Friday!
"I'm not afraid to be alone in a gathering, or stand up and talk in large groups. I'm not nearly as confident as people think, though, so there are times that I really have to push myself to be more confident and 'go for it' at work, because people expect me from me"
Oh my goodness Pam!! This is me!

Love the costumes! And congrats on staying away from the chips! That's hard!

HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
ARRGGGHH! My weight is up above 145 again this morning. WTF??!! Maybe sodium yesterday? Maybe I should just weight myself 2 or 3 times a week - this up and down fluctuation is driving me nuts!
Potentially dangerous eating weekend - I have to really watch it. We had a family dinner last night (niece's birthday), another dinner tonight, a brunch tomorrow, and a dinner tomorrow night. I feel like I'm walking through a minefield. I have to be super careful about my non-restaurant meals and order carefully at the restaurant ones, or I'm going to be sorry... (plus I'm going to Vermont next week to visit relatives for a week, but they all know about my surgery, so hopefully it won't be too hard...and they're family, so...)
QOTD: I can be very disciplined. Although these aren't really personality traits, I'm really good at researching things, analyzing things, finding obscure information, finding "lost" people, navigating data. Comes from working in a research library for years, I guess....
2 years 5 months out today!
B: Fage plain 2% yogurt, homemade blueberry/blackberry sauce
S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax latte shake
L: Triple Zero yogurt, raw veggies & dip (leftover from last night's birthday dinner - figured it'd be good to box up the veggies and eat them today to keep me in check for later tonight...)
D: I'm thinking either crab cakes (one of the appetizers at this place) or soup & salad. All the entrees are enormous. They have grilled salmon, but 8 oz?? Plus fish isn't that great as a leftover. No way could I eat 8 oz of fish.
might have some celery sticks with peanut butter as an afternoon snack, too - dinner isn't until 7:00. Which means we won't actually eat until 7:30, most likely. That's always dangerous..
I'm at the top of my range too (.2 above to be truthful). I don't like being there with the weekend coming and at least 2 dinners out in the next few days!

Hang in there with the scale. I would say definitely don't weigh again until Monday. Do your best with all of the eating out and then start again on Monday with where you are then.

Another gloomy chilly day here in Illinois but Lily and I got up and started walking in the dark. We got our 3.6 miles done and will do another mile after dinner. QOTD one of my best personality traits is that I am a helper. I tend to jump in when things need to be done and try to get it accomplished. Accountability was good yesterday. Post op 5 years 2 months and weight at 118.7 today. Heres the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and peanut butter added L 1 c chili D 31/2 oz strip steak 1/2 c green beans S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goals. My pic is fall only in that its what I'm wearing today. Later!
