oh no - how scary!! I hope she's OK. Should be if they caught it in time, though. Thank God for emergency vets, even though they're expensive (more than regular vets, even - who are also expensive!). They've saved us many times!!!

The vet called this morning and she's doing well. Yes, this is going to be a very pricey vet visit! This will be my face when I see the bill:

I'm sending my prayers for Blossom. I hope with all my heart her labs all return to normal.

Happy Saturday! I am still at the OH conference. I was surprised to find that most of the people I have talked to are not active on the OH site here (some do not even know about it). Apparently the organization is well known in other ways in California? In New England it is only the web presence that we are familiar with. It is an odd feeling for me being her because I am lonely (one of the only people not with a friend or group), and because I am so thin right now. Even people with WLS question whether I have had it.

QOTD: The only really crazy one I remember was one of my own making in my early dieting years (I was probably around 20). All I ate was broccoli! I did love it (and still like it), but boy was that an unsustainable diet. I did lose a lot of weight, but the bounce-back was bad.

1 year, 7 months post-op (maintenance). 10 work days to retirement (11/13).

B: Emipie egg salad

L: Buffet lun*****luded at the conference - probably meats and cheeses
D: leftover contents from 1/2 sandwich I got at a deli yesterday - I already threw away the bread, but the insides were yummy

S: protein snacks from goody bag. They have given us a ton of stuff already and more is coming today.
