Morning folks!! My run is done and I've made breakfast for the kiddos. Today I need to clean, thorough vacuuming/dusting and take some bagged up clothes out of the house. Also need to pin down a plan for our 15th anniversary next month.

We had a good time in the alumni lunch cruise. You know of all the positive things WLS has done for me- I wi**** gave me the confidence to dance. Music was great, and the crowd was enthusiastic. But dancing still make me feel like I'm 330# and people are staring at the fat girl jiggle. Tapping my feet will have to do. I posted a pic and me and my hubby below.

Qotd: I don't know my neighbors beyond a hi/bye. There have been time where a neighbor say****o me in the supermarket and i have no idea who they are. Like you IF, most on our block have been here for ages and are retired, but there's a sprinkling of some younger folks too. We've been here 13 Years now. I would never call on them to walk the dog, take a package etc.

201 today, 2.5 Years out

m1/2: egg, 1.5oz ham, banana, Thomas' mini bagel

m3: beef stew- last of the leftovers

m4: spaghetti, sans noodles with ricotta and Parmesan

Heading to my hometown today (about an hour and a half drive) for my baby cousin's first birthday party. This morning I went out and harvested the last of my garden, though there wasn't much but some peppers, a handful of carrots that didn't get dug up by critters, and a couple tomatoes. The plants haven't died quite yet, but I doubt anything else on them will ripen. I also gathered the last of my herb garden and will dry some, and maybe make a batch of basil pesto to freeze. It's always sad to end the garden, but I also kind of look forward to hunkering down for fall/winter...and soon enough my seed catalog will come so I can plot for next year!

QotD: my neighborhood was built after WWII for returning Air Force vets and their young families, which means every house in my neighborhood is exactly the same design, and TINY. Around 650 sq ft, two bedrooms, no garage or basement, so no storage space! Anyway, it's become a large rental property area, and the houses that are owned by inhabitants are mostly elderly. So it's a mixed bag! The house behind ours is a young college-aged couple, and they always have friends over (they're not bothersome though) and beside us is an older gentleman who lives alone. We kind of watch out for him, my husband mows his lawn and I'll take food and garden goodies over to him. Just yesterday he asked if I'd be making lasagna any time soon. I won't be making traditional lasagna for us anytime soon, but I might make him up a small pan ;)

breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs and 2 strips of bacon

lunch and dinner up in the air, not sure what food will be at the family get together, but I'll likely have birthday cake, especially if it's homemade by my aunt. She makes wonderful cakes.

Fyi- if you make a lasagna- you can make it half and half - in one pan part with noodles- part with eggplant or zucchini as layers. The prep and backing take to longest time.

I often make dishes that half of it is l is carb- the other half is just standard.

Good morning! Its supposed to be in the high 80's today so we are headed to the beach with the dogs for a nice walk on this beautiful, clear morning. Not that interested in the NFL morning games, but we are going out to watch the afternoon games at a local bar. There will be hot wings! Then we will BBQ for the Patriots game tonight. My life still revolves around food, ha, but now it's very manageable. I remember mourning food terribly early on post op, now it's so much easier.

QOTD - We've lived in our neighborhood for 3 years and while most of our neighbors are friendly, we don't know them really. On one side, we make small talk and they bring us BBQ sometimes. The other side has a little dog that constantly barks and they never say anything or wave. They go out of their way to never make eye contact, even when face to face, so weird.

Accountability - like a few of you have mentioned, after being AMAW last week I really enjoyed eating yesterday to put it nicely. My calories were up - its nice to be back in the land of choices.

11 mo post op - 168 - up a few 10ths from yesterday- but ok

b- coffee w/hc, SB iced coffee w/hh, egg/sausage innards from breakfast sandwich

l-hot wings

d-BBQ - chicken or chops

v/l - on track

e -long leisurely walk on beach

Have a great day!
