Good morning all. Furthest away from home was Budapest in 2013 for a business meeting. At 500 pounds the trip wasn't much fun. But it was beautiful and I did get to eat in some fancy restaurants. I only survived because I could travel business class. Couldn't imagine fitting into coach for that long. I had to have carts take me thru the airport.
I maintained my good start to the week - down 3 so far I really like eating this way
B egg white omelette
S Fage yogurt with pumpkin seeds
L 3 oz chicken grilled
S syntrax random flavor
D roast beef small salad
S popsicles

PS: L/R arm skin removal; belt panniculectomy - April, 2019
well it's a banner morning already. It's going to be 70ish today, my classes are done except for the couple I need to assist in, and my weight is back down in the acceptable range! It seems I was just full of bran cereal. Whew!
QOTD: I'd have to figure out distances to see which is furthest, but it's probably Singapore, Buenos Aires, Santiago, or Capetown. I'm guessing Capetown, South Africa, because I've never been on a plane for so long in my life. Ugh!! Especially at 300 lbs!!
2 years 4 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries, blueberries, and 1/4 C bran cereal
S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax latte shake
L: 1 C chili w/ 2 T plain Greek yogurt
D: chicken tinga taco (with some avocado on it)
another yogurt or maybe another protein shake later - I'm too light on protein with the above
UPDATE: I googled distances. Singapore is furthest, with Capetown second. I guess I didn't notice it with Singapore as much because we changed planes in Tokyo, so I wasn't trapped in a metal tube for quite as long...
Good Morning meat lovers!
QOTD: Back in the day before children I did a lot of traveling. The Southern Caribbean is the farthest I have been...so far...
Time out from surgery: 13 months. Today's weight: 215.0 (216.8)
Accountability: I did change things up a bit from plan; cut back on snack and amount of chicken at dinner. Added some ham and a slice of swiss cheese to the chicken for sort of a Chicken Cordon bleu. YUM! Calories sl. higher, protein sl. lower but all still on track.
B: Coffee w/ vanilla PP Pepperoni w/mozzarella broiled
L: Cheese burger, no bun
D: chicken cordon bleu
S: deli ham roll-ups
Cal: 774 Prot: 90 Carb: 13
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning,
Loving this beautiful weather and enjoying walking when I get home. We are doing lots at home - inside and out and I love exercise that isn't exercise - like good old fashioned yard work and serious cleaning and fixing.
QOTD: I haven't traveled far and certainly didn't do so as a child. Even as a young parent, we spent a week in the summer in my husband's home province of New Brunswick and went camping with the kids. I've been to Mexico, the States. Cuba and the Dominican. We were planning on taking an Alaskan cruise for our 25th and 30th Anniversary - but decided to spend the money on the house instead.
ACCOUNTABILITY: I've been sticking to my guns and am thankful that I took the CAMAW route. I am down 0.8 so far which brought me into the 170's today. YEAH! My next goal is 175 - hoping by completion of month seven which is on the 22nd. I just may make it. I'm drinking more - and I drink lots anyways. Getting in 4 to 5 km. each night as well.
B - protein bar (forgot my shake at home - higher calories and carbs., but still 30 gr. of protein)
S - chicken pepperette
L - 3 oz. crab meat with 1 tbsp. low fat mayo
S - Armstrong cheese stick
D - 3 oz. ground turkey with 1 oz. cheddar and 1 tbsp. Tzatziki
S - Skyr with DaVinci French Vanilla syrup (really liking the taste)
Calories: 865, Protein: 87 (low), Carbs: 45 (high). All water and vitamins.
Enjoy the sunshine all!

Good morning, and thank you for the well-wishes for my dad, he?s doing much better today and will probably go home.
I attended an in-person WLS support group through the bariatric program last night. Attending at least one is a requirement but I might keep it up. It?s once a month, and just always nice to see everyone in the different stages. That?s why I like coming here too. I did notice that when telling their stories it ended up being almost a competition on who had the worst comorbidities, who was worse off, who dodged the bullets...I?m hoping that future meetings aren?t like that and maybe we got off on a tangent. I?d much rather look forward to health and hear the possibilities and victories and not feel sorry for myself because I?m sick. (Although, the competitive side of me did enjoy the dramatic collective gasp I received when talking about being diagnosed only after slipping unexpectedly into a diabetic coma. What can I say, I live to impress.)
QOTD: I live smack dab in the Midwest, but have been to Orlando and LA, not sure which would be further. Never been outside the continental US, but would love to visit the UK. My great-grandma was born north of Dublin and that house is still standing as of 10 years ago when she visited there last, I'd love to see it, and maybe take a photo for her, but she's 96, so I'm racing the clock with that...
