Good morning all~ Today is a new day. Need to get back to treating food as a business, it's not personal and not for pleasure. Emotions are getting the best of me, comments are really effecting me...I need to get out of my head ;(

Hello all... A little bit late but I'm here... I am just heart sick over the news from Las Vegas this morning. Last Thursday night as I was walking around Vegas I was thinking how great it would have been if I had known about this festival because I could have had my husband come out and we could have attended, this morning I am giving thanks that I had to fly home on Friday but saying prayers for all those who are affected in any way....
QOTD: I love Christmas... I love buying presents hate receiving them but love buying them and I love decorating the house.

Good morning menu friends -
I'm relaxing and enjoying my first of two days off. I have not done anything on my list of projects for today except for getting dinner ready. I found a crock pot Cuban beef recipe that I'm trying out. My best friend is coming for dinner so I hope it turns out well.
The scale is still annoying me. I really thought it would move for me today . 8 days now without a loss, unless you count the one pound I have been going up and down for the last week. I know it's just a stall and it will go down, but patience is not my strong suit. My 7 months will be here in 11 days and so far I have only lost 6.4 pounds for this month (half month). I really want to at least reach 10 pounds, but I am hoping for 12.

Howdy,
Been really busy with my travel business over the weekend and to be frank, I am really depressed about my weight loss over the last 3 weeks. A three week stall is hard to live with when you are eating 600 calories a day. My surgeon says I am not eating enough or getting enough protein. I average 75-90 per day. She thinks I need to add 3 protein shakes in addition to the food I am eating already and that I need 120-160 grams of protein during active weight loss. That would mean upping my calories per day or living on a liquid diet only to be able to achieve this.
QOTD: Don't really have a favorite holiday. They all require work! LOL I am feeling scrooge like today.....:(
Breakfast : Protein shake with almond milk 23 grams protein 125 calories
Cheesestick low fat 6 grams 60 calories
chicken breast, spinach and 1/2 of a low carb wrap 165 calories 24 grams protein
Snack? unsure
Dinner; shrimp, spaghetti squash with cheese 185 calories 25 grams protein
FF greek yogurt 13 grams protein 80 calories
Total: 615 calories 91 grams protein 70 ounces liquids

QOTD: I like Christmas better because my Son is usually on leave from the Navy. I have 4 kids son 21, daughter 19, son 14, and daughter 12. I miss when they were all home and young. I have 2 home now. I loved watching them open all there gifts in excitement.
I always feel odd to answer this post because I am still on a restricted diet. Anyhow here I go.
