Hi,

I had WLS in 1999. At the time I weighed 285. I lost 130 pounds in 2 years, then got back up to 190, lost down to 160, went back up to 175. About 2 years ago I went on Atkins and lost down to 127 at my lowest. Have maintained weight between 135-37 for more than a year. I am on Atkins for the mo st part. I use low carb yogurt and Atkins bars as snacks every day. I drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.I am in a size 6 jeans and medium shirt. I am 76 years old and have never felt better in my life. No health issues at all. I am a full-time caregiver and have been for over 7 years. My husband has Parkinson's disease.

For those who think it can't be done I can tell you that persistence pays off and weight loss can be maintained IF you NEVER cheat! It is worth all of the effort and discipline it takes to stay healthy.
