Growing up I was totally addicted to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis I would have loved to have met her. When I was in elementary school I would read anything I could get my hands on about the Kennedy family but she by far was my favorite.

Good morning.

Accountability: I did pretty good this weekend. I went to a pool party on Saturday and I was worried about the spread but I was able to eat some chicken salad and avoid the sweets. Yesterday I didn't feel like eating much so I kind of had to force myself to get my protein in. Not complaining about that though!

QOTD: I am really not sure. I'll have to think on this after I have coffee.

3.5mos post op

B: dunkin coffee and wake up wrap

L: 2oz deli ham and 3 cracker cuts of cheddar

S: turkey pepperoni

D: egg beater omelet with ham and cheese, bacon

S: if I have enough carbs left I'll have some popcorn.

QOTD: hard one, I don't really have thoughts on this.

Weekend was super busy which led to me being tired, which led to food choices which were crap. Friday we loaded uhual to clean up basement in house, saturday we unloaded uhaul plus finished loading uhaul in AM. Then we went to home depot and got trim for windows and boxes, then home to meet granite guy. we are getting granite upstairs in kitchen and 2 baths to 'help' the house sell plus it is expected to be honest. sooo- i spent all sat getting estimates and met the dude yesterday to approve the slab. it is nice and can't wait to use it before we sell. we are also getting gorgeous undermount sinks. Yesterday had to go buy an load carpet squares also at the store.

Good Morning! Sorry for missing the post on Friday, my plan was to log on in the afternoon and that didn't happen. We had a rough weekend full of tears and puffy eyes and I am kinda glad to get us back to our routine today. I know most of you already know from FB posts but our kitty Sas did not survive his surgery on Friday. I had to experience not only grieving myself but also seeing Em grieve -it's horrible. I am proud of her, she had to make some pretty "big girl" choices and she handled them well. She did decide that she needed to see him and also agreed to allow him to be sent to Stanford for an autopsy-the vet feels it's beneficial to research if there was any correlation to the issue with his leg (that required the initial surgery) and the cardiac arrest at the end of his surgery. I cannot describe the compassion the vet showed all of us-it was hard for her too- she also had done his original surgery when he weighed less than a pound.

QOTD: I really don't know...

Time since surgery: 3 years

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt with blueberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig corned beef and SF popsicle when I get home

D: Shredded chicken topped with green Chile sauce and cheese, salad with Skinny Balsamic dressing and SF vanilla pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1148 Protein:122 Carbs:82 Fat:39

Have a great one!

That is a rough one, especially to see our kids struggle. Getting back to routine can be a good thing.
