while in the hospital
Protein will likely be provided, since hospitals typically feed patients anyway. I'd bring my own vitamins, but all hospitals are different, so we really can't say. Best bet is to ask the hospital or your surgical team directly
Almost always, if the hospital wants you to have something, they will provide it. Even regular meds and vitamins.
It really is no big deal at all to skip vitamins for three days. It isn't even the tiniest of deals.

Agreed. Forget about the vitamins. I was told to stop 2 weeks before surgery. It isn't going to hurt you at all. I restarted my vitamins once out of the hospital. Make sure you are taking the appropriate bariatric compatible vitamins.
By the way, I had laparoscopic RNY and was out the same evening.

Day 2 I got Hi Prot jello-like stuff and fluids. At first they brought me the wrong tray - oatmeal, so make sure you get clears only.
Good luck! They only thing I needed was old magazines that I left in the waiting room.
