What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Now -i often drink 64 oz between 6am and noon. And drink more during the day. Then more before bed.
I try not to drink for at least one hour after "very dens food" meal. Or at least 30 min minimum for less dense foods. Drinking liquids while you eat (it does not apply to protein shakes or slider foods) may cause stretching the pouch and stoma. If you drink too fast - it cause pain or discomfort - stop, and wait, then drink more. Otherwise - drink as much as the pouch allows. I find that warm drinks - or even room temperature -are better for my pouch. Some people like ice cold drinks. Find what is working for you.

Good morning,
Today I go to my 3 year checkup at the bariatric center.
Accountability I had extra popcorn last night.
QOTD It depends if I have time in the morning. I usually like to drink 48 oz of water and 32 oz of decaf coffee before I eat breakfast. This morning it didn't happen, I had 24 oz of water before I ate. Sometimes I'm hungry when I get up. But it's usually late at night when I think I'm hungry.

Good morning Daisy and menu'ers. I am at my neighborhood breakfast place again, hiding out from the housekeepers (first world problems). No vegan bacon haters this time, just a guy that spilled his whole life story in the first two minutes of me sitting down. He was cute, so no worries, but I gotta wonder. Is it me? I love this place. Added bonus, it has a Pokestop right outside, so I always lure it and happily catch Pokémons for a 1/2 hour (all of you fellow nerds know what I'm talking about).
Busy day today. I have a bunch of errands to run this morning, and then I have a guy that is doing work around my house. Today he is installing pull out drawers in my kitchen in the cupboard I keep my pots. He is also making this giant long drawer in my built in buffet into two drawers. The drawer is so big that I can never get it open. I'm sure that the fact I have it packed full of stuff has nothing to do with it.
Tonight I am helping a friend host a dinner for the moms of my godson's football team players.
QOTD: I always eat breakfast in the morning after my shower. I don't wait until I'm hungry because I seldom am (I can get hangry if I wait a long time between meals). It works for me to eat a scheduled 5-6 meals a day, and really helps me fight the urge to mindlessly snack. I generally only get into trouble if I don't have a good plan. Like today, when I have no idea what I will have for dinner because of the party. I will be preparing the food, so that will give me some control. Likely meat and cheese. I just need to stay away from the baked appetizers. Little carb/calorie bombs.

We are n the process of putting house on market and DH has been doing all kinds of construction. He is an interior designer so it has been a bit of a whirlwind. yesterday was window trim so the blinds were off last night and I COULD NOT SLEEP. Yesterday the tile work in the bathroom needed tweaking also. Realtor is coming thurs to talk and have a walk through.
I'm having pull out drawers in my closet in the next house. actually already bought them from ikea and been using to store my perfumes, lotions etc. yes... i have that many it is one of the things I collect along with clothng- lol

Good morning all~ weird wet cloudy morning but it's supposed to clear up this afternoon. Rob was able to change his schedule and work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so he will only be away 2 nights now which is less of a strain on us financially. I won't miss him as much either. Funny - every other relationship I have ever been in, I would have welcomed this arrangement of them working out of town. That's how I know he is the one, haha! Taking my son to see my dad tonight. If dad is up for it, we will take him to In and Out for dinner.
QOTD - I NEED coffee first thing! I usually eat later after I get to work and settled. I have always been a meal girl and pre op it was all about the quantity. I ate with my eyes - I would have an average size breakfast, but an enormous bowl or plate of whatever food at lunch and dinner - I needed to be seriously stuffed to the gills. I've never been much of a snacker, grazer or night time eater (one exception - ice cream). I would make a meal out of snack food though. I still miss those huge plates of food and the food coma that followed. Anyway, I guess this is why you'll never see snacks on my menu. I just don't care about them. If I am feeling hungry, I will just eat my next meal earlier than planned.
Accountability - 100% on plan yesterday
