I'm all packed. I'm getting ready to fill the fridge with 2oz cups of pudding and jello. Doing laundry, paying bills and cleaning house for the family. Gotta feed the tortoises and set aside some for the hubby to feed them. Other than that I think I'm good...ready to have this over with and start my weight loss journey! Can't wait to be able to do STUFF again...I'll let you all know how it went when I get home. I'm a little nervous do to problems with pain control meds but I think i'll be good...

So excited for you!!! Sounds like you're very well organized and will be ready to go tomorrow morning! Don't forget your "coughing" pillow for the car ride home. Watch a funny movie tonight with the hubs! ((hugs))

My hour long ride home went well thanks to holding a pillow tight against my midsection; after 30 minutes into the trip, DH stopped the car for me to walk around the car a couple of times as an effort to prevent leg clots.

Good luck with your Surgery, just remember to don't tough out the pain if you have any. Most hospitals want you at a 4 or lower on pain scale. Don't feel like you have to tough through it. Also, the first night is the hardest since no drinking allowed but swab, swab, swab that mouth with water :) You will do awesome and don't worry if you wonder "What the heck did i do to myself", that to shall pass.

Congrats on your surgery! Remember that to walk all that you can and as soon as you can. It helps with the gas that comes with surgery.

As for pain meds, use what you need, but you may be pleasantly surprised that you don't need them long.

Keep us updated!
