Good Morning and it's Fri-YAY! LOVE THE PICS!! You do have a pretty packed weekend. We don't have too much planned, a few last items to pick up for Em's first day back to school on Monday. I am only working until 12 today because I get to pick her up after she welcomes ten 7th graders to the campus-she's so nervous but I know she'll do great.
So bummer news...sorry for the repeat for those that already saw this on facebook and for the long story. Our little kitty Sasquatch (that we adopted at the beginning of July) will need to have surgery next Friday. He needs to have the remainder of his leg amputated-at the hip. When he was rescued (he was less than 6 weeks old) they had to amputate most of the leg because they think someone had placed a tight rubber-band on it or something because it was mostly dead (that is how he got his name-Big Foot/Sasquatch). The vet that did the operation thought they had taken enough but since he was so little they didn't know how much it would grow and it grew too much and he uses it/well at least tries to. Anyhow, this caused his to get an infection (that ended up filling with fluid and bursting yesterday) in it and it will continue to happen as he bumps/uses it so it's necessary to have the rest of the leg removed. Needless to say, we are all worried about him and the BB size hole he has on his "stump" right now needs to heal up so most of the day he has to wear "the cone".
QOTD: Pre-op it was milk chocolate but post-op when I have had something like chocolate almonds or something like that I have picked dark chocolate. I have never really cared much for white chocolate.
