Good mornin' y'all. I'm late to the dance and continual soiree, had my PFTs this morning and the MRI for my hip. Then Mr. Fluffy took me to a little mom n' pop diner for brekky since we had to get up by 4:30am to be there by 7am this morning. Holy craptastic beginning to a day--but it's over. PTL!

I wish I could help a sistah out with advice, but I have nothing constructive to add...only purile, 12 year old humor available this morning. Along with my 2 pairs of magic pants that expand and shrink by about 125lbs, I also appear to have magic "draw's" too. Or at least I think they are magic granny panties and until I can pull those truckers up over my head and tie 'em in a knot, or lose them while walking along the downtown streets of Houston, I'm gonna refuse to shell out the dough for new stuff. I don't know this word lingerie. What does it mean? LOL
Accountability: For some unknown reason, I went 8 rounds with Tyson last night. Tyson is my inner, willful and entitled 6 year old child living inside my mind (right next to the purile 12 year old, Re-GINA-a--long "i"). I guess Tyson wanted something other than the l.o. grilled chicken breast we've eaten consecutively for the last 8 days. I was totally pooped from working and again trekking down to the Med Ctr and did not feel like cooking. I was only one breath away from making poor choices that would set the scale back 5 days, and set me back metabolically for about 3 weeks. sigh Thankfully, I had enough snap and energy to fight back and I remembered y'all and how successful you are and how you make good choices day-in and day-out. Long story short, y'all saved me from landing face down in a big ol' plate of steaming cheese enchiladas! We did have the l.o. grilled chickie, but I did sub out my roasted cauliflower for nuked broccoli (something Tyson gagged over) and the macros remained pretty close to the same. Crisis averted. Yay team and thanks again y'all for leading by example!

QOTD: hahaha I hate VPL! There's only one kind of undie that I like because they are seamless on the legs so they show nothing. The brand is maidenform. Not sure what the style is but they're pretty easy to find. Almost every department store I've been to has them :)

I've always worn skirts so I've never worried about pantylines. Maybe when I get to goal I'll have the courage to wear pants.
I have a question: lately I've become more interested in food. (About 3.5 months out). I think of having s snack during the evening. I never do because I'm actually not hungry. Not s craving but it just pops into my mind. Before surgery I did eat candy right before going to sleep...could this be some kind of trick of.the mind? I really want to deal with this now. I know it's not a huge deal but this new interest in food has me worried.( I still barely finish my protein at meals.) Thanks! Have s great rest of the day!

QOTD: I use seamless ultra thin boy shorts. They are expensive but they work. They are made by spanx.
Accountability: I had a hungry day yesterday and although everything I ate was on p,an my calories and carbs were higher than I like. I think the PB2 I tried may have triggered my appetite but idk.

QOTD: I already chimed in on earlier post but for me it's cotton jersey boxers! LOL!
Accountibility: I strayed off plan a little last night. I had a bite of grilled keilbasa that I made for a function at work today. I also had a tsp of peanut butter. a few hours after dinner I just wasn't feeling satisfied even with my evening snack. If this happens tonight I will be drinking a lot more water or just chewing on my lip!
My menu is the same as yesterday,
B: 2eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese
L: 3oz turkey breast
S: 1 1/2 oz turkey breast, 1/2 oz prosciutto di parma
D: 1 1/2 oz ground sirloin, 2 oz hot italian sausage, 2 forkfuls broccoli rabe
S: ostrim meat stick plus one bite

QOTD: sadly I am still only wear granny panties.
Accountability : I ended up going shopping and out to eat with my friend yesterday, but I ate steak and broccoli and packed 1/2 of it up before I even started eating, so my totals for the day were almost exactly the same after I adjusted my snacks for the day
We ended up going for 2 walks yesterday, a 2 mile walk before shopping, and a 2 mile walk after shopping. The scale rewarded me with a 1.8 pound loss.

Hi all,
Another gorgeous day in paradise here on the central coast of California! I need to work in my garden a bit. I have a big old weeping elm tree that I want to cut back a bit - if I let it go (as now), it's graceful, leafy branches reach to the ground! I tucked my outdoor furniture back underneath it's canopy, by it's trunk, because it is lovely and shielded from the sun. But I prefer the branches to be not quite so overgrown. Also, the roses and geraniums need tending.
I am way more of a skirts and dresses person than a pants and trousers person. I was that way even at 124 pounds. That being said, I have worn shapewear briefs for just about ever! Visible panty lines aren't an issue for me...maybe because I prefer skirts!

L: 1.5 oz. Tuna/mayo/lemon (trying this again...first time I tried it, made w a tiny bit of cottage cheese, it sat in my stomach like a lead weight for hours. I had only a couple of bites and the cats enjoyed the rest. It was very uncomfortable! Hoping it will be easier made with a little mayo and mashed to smooshy bits!).
