Hi, I have been lactose intolerant for many years and so nothing has changed for me. I do find that I cannot handle the protein shakes so looking for something I can tolerate.

Hi and yes,
It may be the artificial sweeteners as well. I do just find with regular food though! :)

well, I am scared to try... haha Lactose free milk hurts!! I am putting off the test cause I do want the pain.
There are many GF products. Celiac disease shouldn't be an issue.

Prior to the surgery I was allergic to wheat, dairy, soy and eggs. I was tested for celiac disease but was told I was negative. I stay away from wheat as I get GI issues and breathing issues from it. Prior to surgery I rarely had dairy because it is a trigger for my asthma. I have struggled with the protein drinks since the surgery and thankfully don't need to drink them now. They gave me Boost in the hospital but had to stop that brand as I had no control when it decided to leave my body. Premier was a little better but caused tummy issues.
I am finding it easiest to just eat meat and vegetables. I eat some cheese successfully.
