Suggestions for night cravings?
I hit my protein goal everyday but my brain just won't stop with the late night cravings. Some nights I can white knuckle my through and some nights I just can't handle the urge. It gets to the point where I can't even think about anything else and my husband will look at me and ask "Are you ok? What are you thinking about?"
The craving struggle is no joke. I am gnawing on my lips some nights like a total food junkie haha

My latte... I make it with Fairlife milk to up my protein a bit... And SF syrups too, I have every flavor available.
I know you said salty crunchy snacks... But I had to cut them down because of cravings...
I do like pork rinds when I'm just not happy with sweet anything... But I don't abuse them and they fill me up, actually. I found a company really only available right now in Texas and spotty across the South that carry flavors like Pineapple Ancho Chili and Kimchi BBQ.... I have a serious love for these.
I like the idea of cream cheese in a celery stalks with the everything but the bagel spice, and you can always microwave Pepperoni's until they are crunchy! Then I like to dip them in ranch but honestly.... I've cut most eating out after dinner for the most part.
My latte usually fills me up enough to keep me happy.

I like the pepperoni idea! I'm trying really hard to eat nothing after dinner but I need ideas for the nights when I'm practically gnawing my fingers off lol. What about dry roasted peas? They're 150 cal for 1/3 cup - I don't think I'd need that many to be satisfied. Would those be pushing my limits too far though?

Peas are basically sugar. You are considering them because they seem like a healthy alternative but really just a sugar fix.
Peas = starch = carbs = sugar.

If it's your first week back on track, I assume that means you're probably detoxing from carbs that you were eating before? In which case, these cravings will pass if you get used to eating the way you're supposed to be eating.

Yes, I'm definitely detoxing from all of my carelessness in the past several weeks so I'm hoping that if I can stick with it and get back on track the cravings will eventually not be an issue. I just need healthy, reasonable ideas for when I can't hold off the urge until I get fully detoxed. I really want/need to stay on track.

I am also losing a regain... a large regain.... I've lost 29lbs since April 24th and just qualified for my 1st knee replacement (Yaaaa)... I write my food plan down. I eat between 500 - 700 calories a day... I am hungry sometimes but I don't care...as Grim says 'hunger is not an emergency'... please please be careful....sounds like you're having cravings... drink water, white knuckle it or go to bed...but please be careful
