I already have very thinning hair!

Yikes. I have lost a lot of hair over the past 10 years. I have been able to see my scalp for years through my hair in the front.

I use men's rogaine per my dermatologist and take biotin - all to keep what I have.

Anyone else have very thin hair to begin with before surgery? I wonder if I will go completely bald.

I have this fear also. I haven't had surgery yet but as I understand it the hair will grow back. Maybe it will grow back thicker since we'll be healthier? We can dream...

I know that everyone is different but I had the same situation with very thin hair especially in front. I lost hair after surgery but it it now beginning to grow back. I never got completely bald. The surgery results far outweighed the hair falling out IMO.

I was worried about hairloss - my hair is very fine but not thin. However I'm 6.5 months out and have not lost any hair really. So, you may not have to worry. :) Good luck.
