What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and menu crew, back at the grind this week after a few days off last week and a long ( wet) camping weekend. The weather has just been terrible so far this summer. Cloudy with rain again today! Yuck. Sunscreen suppliers are seeing a dip in sales in this area...LOL

Stay healthy my friends, Mike
hi all
No change for me - I did make it to yoga last night. it was 'supposed' to be a beginners prana yoga but man it was hard. lots of lunges and planking. weight up 1 pound from yesterday. I decided last night to eat a large handful of almonds (that I chewed down to nothing) and felt sick before bed and had to take tramadol to help the pain. At least I didn't have to go to ER again so that is a major improvment.
QOTD: I have some bai drinks I got on amazon. technically they have caffiene so I really limit them, and I also have some plain water, and some diet hansens soda made with stevia. I have the root beer cream soda flavor and a tangerine one on the wa from amazon for next month. Other than that, there was a period I drank a lot of powerade zero but I don't buy it anymore. would rather have water, tea and coffee.
I'm going to chill it on the grazing today. for some reason i keep going by the kitchen and thinking i need food everytime. sheesh- OH I made a HUGE batch of IP yogurt yesterday, cant WAIT to have some.
Planned food for today:
maybe egg whites and a duck egg for breakfast
leftover soup like concoction of green beans, squash, leftover bbq pork and turkey chili, fresh garden tomato and spices. like a stew but pureed so it looks like crap but tastes good
Made chocolate protein ice pops last night and will eat one or two of those also
out of RTD premier protein after today, so will be back to the powders.
exercise- i think it is a regular beginner yoga class today and gosh darn it I paid for it so need to use it.

Good morning! Work is insane. The leadership teams (principals, deans, etc) are back today and I am not feeling ready for all the meetings and orientations I have. I wanted to be more preapred. Someone hung a sign in our office yesterday that said 31 more work days until school starts...ahhhhhhh!!
Accountability: I ate my biscuit with honey butter. No regrets.
QOTD: I like G2 and Propel. Sometimes plain water doesn't sit right with my pouch and a flavored water goes down easier. That might be in my head but sometimes plain water just makes me feel tight. Is that a thing?
I was running late and threw a bunch of stuff into my lunch bag this morning without getting it into MFP or having any real sort of plan (whomp whomp). I will be eating some combo of: yogurt with mint choc protein powder, cheese stick & deli meat roll up, hummus with pita chips and cucumber, and plain chicken breast with bagel spice.
Vitamins: patches on
Exercise: I'm contemplating a trip to the gym this evening... I am giving up on the idea of running for awhile (stupid achilles tendon) but I should try some upper body strength training or something to get back into better routines.
My pouch prefers I don't drink plain water either. My latest drink for summer is raspberry herbal ice tea with lots of lemon and some sweetener... yummy

Plain water is always iffy for me whether or not it will sit well, so I drink alot of Crystal Light flavored water.

Plain water makes me nauseous every time. No idea why but yes, totally a thing.

I drink propel a bunch. I also use the propel powder, or a powder called true lemon. I use 1 tube in a 30 oz cup of water, so the flavor isn't overwhelming. I also drink something from Core water. It's Core water organic, I like the peach mango. It's 10 cals for the whole bottle, so I don't drink it all the time (and it's expensive when I can't buy it by the case from Costco), but it's delicious and nice for a change of pace. My ability to drink plain water is unpredictable. Some days yes, some days no. The one constant is that it needs to be ice cold for me to get it down.
