What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Afternoon everyone! I'm late to the game, but I'm still going to play!
Accountability... I stayed on point, except for the protein bar that snuck into my hand last night and begged me to eat it. I felt like I had to oblige... it's hard being home alone, and I'm struggling with wanting to be lazy, and needing to find something to do. Sigh... I have another week or so of this. I should try to enjoy it!
QOTD: I'm not a huge fan of sports drinks. I will occasionally have some of my husband's Powerade Zero, but mostly I like the SF drops you add to water. On my counter it's not unusual to see 4-5 bottles of that stuff in various flavors.
Weight this morning 139.2... probably still my body rebelling over all that crap I ate
B: chilidog casserole 3.5 ounces
S: cheese stick
L: 3.5 ounces of baby back ribs homemade
D: Not sure, but I have sauteed shrimp/ fajita meat/ ribs to choose from.
S: Latte Love!

Good Afternoon Daisy and menu friends!
Daisy- I'm so impressed with your amazing workout efforts!!! 120 minutes of hard work plus your low calorie diet makes your body do the unimaginable. I find you inspiring and your body's ability to adapt horribly depressing all at the same time!
Accountability: I ended up leaving work and going straight to meet my parents for dinner. The menu at the assisted care facility was limited, so I had red sauce with meatballs over green beans, a spoon full of a turkey casserole, and 2 ounces of cottage cheese. This change in planned diet destroyed my protein for the day but didn't change the rest of my numbers significantly. I was lower in total calories. Due to spending the evening with my parents, I didn't go for a run. Ugh.
QOTD: My roommate buys vitamin water, but I find all of that stuff way too sweet. I have to cut it way down with water, like 1/4 vitamin water, 3/4 water.
3 mo Post RNY/ 168 lbs/ Weight-Loss menu
B- Half a can of Pure Protein Chocolate shake
MS- missed (been soooo busy!)
L- missed (yeah... crazy day)
AS- 1/2 cup of tuna salad
D- Venison Larb served with plain greek yogurt and cabbage leaves
ES- ?
Total Calories: 635, Protein: 90, Carbs: 22, Sugar: 4, Fat: 20
The calories may be high (and the fat) because I used standard beef larb on MFP and I'll be using a leaner, venison to make the dish. I also only use about half the toasted ground rice for the base (maybe a TBSP total).
Exercise: Tonight I'm having friends over for dinner, so I'm not sure about the timing for exercise. I didn't ride my bike to work because it's supposed to storm this afternoon and yesterday it was flooding all around the downtown area where I work and I don't want to be caught with my bike trying to navigate out of the area. (yep- feeling VERY defensive about this!)

Hello Everyone
Today I tried the Starbucks egg bites and OH MY the egg white veggie is great. Just yesterday I said I didn't like eggs but that really was good.
Accountability: yesterday was rough. I had blood drawn for my 9mo follow up with my surgeon and because I couldn't eat it threw everything off. I didn't eat anything off plan and recorded everything but my calories were around 1,000 and carbs around 45 which is an absolute first since surgery. That is why today while I was out running errands I stopped for breakfast and I'm doing far better today. Lesson learned.
QOTD: I don't drink sports drinks. I've had zero water maybe a couple of times but that's it. Not my favorite.
B: decaf with premier protein and Starbucks soups vide egg bites
L: turkey wrapped around TJ light cheddar stick in a lettuce leaf
S: roast beef wrapped around string cheese in a lettuce leaf, decaf with pp and sf torani
D: grilled chicken sausage and green beans
calories 745, protein 89, carbs 44 (that's high?)fat 26
