Maybe try and get your protein more through shakes right now if food is causing you to feel "lumpy"? At three weeks I think I was on liquids. There is no rush to get to regular food - if you are having problems progressing just slow down a little. It will get easier, I promise.

This is where of the premier proteins come in especially handy. Because there are thin liquid, so easier to get down in the beginning, but they have some calories and protein. Doesn't really this point matter how long it takes you to drink them, and to drink your water or what other fluids are taking in, just keep working at it.
