Nice! I'd love to see some inside pics sometime. I know what you mean about volunteering- it is the same small number of people who do all the work in most community organizations. I think there are less and less people volunteering these days too. Tends to burn you out.

Good morning. I am so glad it is summer.

Snacks will be decaf coffee. I have been struggling with my inner demons. Sounds silly. But some of my old behaviors creep back into life. Like hiding and eating stuff. I know I do it so that is part of getting better and working with my therapist.

I am 1 year and four months sober. I am very proud of myself for that. I never thought in a million years I would stop drinking. I am going to AA and it does help. I have found a lot of good people there. There are some I just do not bother with. Some can suck the life out of you.

When my daughter and I went to the beach we did take some pics of ourselves. I didn't know she was taking this picture of me. My butt looks big. But that is okay. I looked at my smile. There was something there that hasn't been there in a long time. Since I have stopped drinking my heart feels now. At first I really didn't like it. I drank away the pain. I have no idea what I was smiling about. I zoomed in to my face and really looked. I was like **** I am actually happy. Well I don't want to say happy. I will say content. I think happy is way too much work.

Thank you. The dress was 15 dollars from Amazon. On the downside is I had to buy a slip to wear under it. it was completely see through.
