Complications of surgery
on 6/20/17 4:39 am
This is not by any means a scientific data. I know for me I have had some complications after surgery. About three hernia repairs.
I also know that I could have had a lot worse happen to me if I did not have surgery.
Life for me is a lot easier since I have lost the weight. I am four years out and to this day I have no regrets.
It was not easy when I started out. But not horrible. I had a few times I thought what the heck did I do to myself.
The worries of not breaking furniture. Fitting in a booth. Or just being able to fly without paying for two seats are benefits.
The best part is I feel so much healthier. I can do things that I couldn't before. I am able to walk the steps without stopping half way to catch my breath. I can go all day without lying saying I am not feeling well and need to go home.
There are others out there who have had problems. I am just putting my experience out here.
One of the biggest things that WLS has made me honest and grow up.
So glad you're doing so well! Sorry about the hernias. My friend just had surgery to repair two of them, and he never had weight loss surgery. My brother has to have his repaired too.
