Morning everyone! Oh boy, I must be fighting off a doozy of something because I slept for...wait for it... the better part of 16 hours yesterday! Whaaaat? I never do that! I don't even feel sick, but I have been feeling some weird pains around my right rib lately, so maybe it's something? Or maybe I am just tired...who knows! Gotta rest up for a fun Father's Day weekend! Tonight I am taking Dad to a minor league baseball game, and then tomorrow is Tall Ships Day!

QOTD: The town my old condo was in bordered up to Concord MA and was right down the street from where the first shots were fired in the Battle of Lexington/Concord. Grim and I now live in the town that used to be known as "shoe city" because they used to have as many as 91 shoe factories back in the late 1800s - early 1900s. No more factories anymore but the name stuck. I was always destined to live in a town known as shoe city, right? Hahaha.

Menu is not 100%, because I don't have a plan for dinner yet. But probably a cookout?

B: Fit Frappe Mocha Protein Shake

S: Cauliflower Crust Pizza

L: Salad with Chicken, Walnuts, HB Egg & Low Sugar Dried Cranberries

D: ?

S: popcorn

I hope you feel better soon! A cook out sounds fun! I'm actually going to making my own bacon for the 4th of July cook out I'm having. It takes about 1 week to cure then smoke it for about 4 hrs.

I'm doing talk to text because of my arm, so I apologize for any typos a mess.

I've been MIA for two days, I'm not really on purpose. Thursday it just took me so long to get my day together I didn't post but did come on I'm read. Yesterday I was on the laptop and Hunt and pecked my message and when I hit send 0H ate my homework LOL and it disappeared. I had to leave the doctors so I had no time or energy to do it again

Yesterday was a crap day with food. Totally stress ate. Had my doctors appointment went to lunch with my girlfriend that took me and then she took me to PT. I was just overwhelmed physically and emotionally and just kept snacking and eating. Including not sleeping and getting up at 2 AM, which even when I was obese was not my MO I was not a middle of the night eater. The scale of course paid for today and I'm up 2 pounds.

Found out yesterday I have to wear my arm brace for the full six weeks. I am in a funk obviously, I don't do this well. This is especially hard because I can't drive. Found out I was doing things wrong with my arm, not on purpose so feeling a little like I don't know what I'm doing. Also found out they had to repair my biceps and labrum is well. Fun times. I will get past this, just having my moment.

I planned a real menu today, so that's a start

B: latte fairlife/mct oil/miralax. Eggbeaters with bacon and cheese .

L: pork with peppers and onions, Tzaziki sauce

D: Cobb salad - turkey bacon eggs cheese, honey mustard dressing

S: protein drink, Kirkland protein bar, protein hot chocolate, maybe some popcorn. Snacks are a little more up in the air.

I had a torn labrum a couple of years ago, so I can totally relate. Heal quickly and take care!

I was thinking of you this week. My girlfriend took me on a field trip to target for a few things and I bought English muffins and had toast twice this week. Talk about comfort eating. I know you understand toast

I do understand it and sometimes it's the only thing that works. Be patient with yourself. I've had surgery on both arms in the last 3 years. Your not OK right now but you will be.

I'm not eating any bread right now. No rice, potatoes, not even trendy sweet potato toast (I just see toasters blowing up from all the sugar with that one). I'm not ok either!!! It's getting easier. Right now I'm not thinking about it I'm just doing it.

Things I like to do when I can't move an arm is binge watch Netflix series, plan trips (the Maldives is just calling me),and whine to my wife. All help!
