Congrats on surgery, and welcome to the loser's bench!

I had a lot of pain too, but every day gets better, so hang in there. Are you allowed protein shakes? I drank premier protein shakes right after surgery, using those little medicine cups, I basically sipped on protein and water all day long, lol. It took me something like 4 hours to finish a shake at first, but that was just me, and it did get better.

Congrats on the weight loss too!

Hi Kathy!

I can have premier protein shakes. I tried drinking one earlier and got through two med cups and got nauseous. I took some zofran and will try again for lunch. For now it's water and diet Lipton tea. Still hurting. Need to cough but can't really do it. I know it will get better. I think I'm probably being a big baby haha.

Congratulations, and welcome to the loser's bench!!!

It will get better... you whine all you need to right now! LOL

Pick a scale, and use it as your 'base'... so if you've been weighing on your scale, use that number and own it!

Surgery date twin! I'm feeling very similar. Two or three sips of premier protein and I feel full for the day! I fall asleep at the drop of a hat too. zzzzz. :D Congratulations!

Congrats and soon this will be a distant memory! I had a ton of pain on my left side but mine was due to the fact I had a revision from banding and my port was attached to the left side of my abdomen. Drinking and walking, even though it's tough, will put you on the mend. Take care of yourself and welcome!

Carol
