Hello Wednesday! Happy Hump Day to you all. I am limping around in my stupid boot making with the positive attitude as much as possible. Grrr to the boot but my foot is already feeling better. Man, I really hadn't realized how much it was hurting before.

Had a check up with my RNY doctor yesterday. All my labs were looking great he said. Only thing he wants me to do is stop losing weight. I am down another 5 pounds on his scale from when I was last there post hernia repair 5 weeks ago. He emphasized that I really need a little more weight. He said, "There is just no cushion here at all." I nodded a lot and said, "Will do!" Not planning on changing a thing unless I get under 115 or so. Today I am down to 122. I am just not about gaining weight...to heck with that. As long as my nutrition scores are good, I am good.

Accountability: I didn't enter into MFP yesterday. I forgot all about it by the time I got home but here is what I ate... 1/2 cup Greek yogurt with 1/2 peach (I had planned for 1 cup and a whole peach...no dice); Snack on the way to RNY checkup (yes, I totally ate on the way even though they were going to weigh me LOL I TOTALLY did take off the boot though because I ain't about that life) Nature Valley Oat n' Honey granola bar; Snack on drive home: banana; Dinner, 3 oz of Chicken crack and 4 slices of bacon, 1 King's Hawaiian roll; Evening snack: store bough sponge tart cake, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 whipped cream (whipped it myself); 100 calorie popcorn.

Entering it all now just to see... Grand total: Calories 1086; Protein 43; Carb 122; Fat 54. Hmmmm...really?? That low on the protein... Uhg. I need to track as I go apparently. PLENTY of carbs though LOL Geez. Today I will do better!

Have a great day everyone,

~Elizabeth

Right? I just know my body is going to go nuts and I will be over 200 pounds in a blink if I stray. Funny note though...doctor said he recommended I add a measured 100 calorie serving of almonds.

He said, "it is the easiest way to add 100 calories without adding much noticeable difference to your eating, a handful, maybe 15 almonds is enough".

Really really made me realize that handful of little things are enough to make a difference. Uhg. No grazing for me!!

If you are like me there is no such thing as ONE handful of almonds (those handfuls multiply for me).

Nnnooooo.....I am nothing like you! I would NEVER eat more than one handful.... After all...I don't like almonds. ;)

Let me at a 'handful' of walnuts, peanuts, or pecans and it is GAME ON!

Unless there was chocolate on the almonds...

or I was bored...

or I thought too much about not being 'allowed' to eat more almonds.

or...or...or...

Hello Everyone!

The school year is slowly ending thank goodness. Only exams left and then I will have some time to breath!!

Accountability: Yesterday went close to being as planned but for some reason my dinner was a flop. I made chicken tenders on my George Forman grill (which I've done many times) I measured out my portion and for whatever reason as I was eating it I realized I really didn't like the taste. I think I was trying to fini**** quickly to get to my veggie because I really wasn't thrilled with the taste. Anyway, I got stuck! Probably from eating too quickly to "get it overwith". Lesson learned. So I couldn't eat the rest of the chicken. Once the meat finally went down I had some Fage yogurt to make up the protein so my carbs went up. Oh well.It was supposed to be calories: 777,protein: 129, carbs 21, fat 26: Calories ended up at 745, protein 118, carbs 27, fat 24.

B: decaf and protein hot chocolate

S: babybel and string cheese

L: tuna with whipped Greek cream cheese

S: Iced decaf with almond milk, turkey lunch meat

D: Salmon, romaine with peppers and light dressing

Calories 774, protein 107 carbs 26, fat 27
