What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning JB and menu crew!
Hugs to you JB! That sounds tough and I pray for the speedy recovery of both of your parents! And I do think you look like elizabeth taylor, even post weight loss!
I have been horrible and can't find the time to get on here anymore. My job wants me to be 100% client billable during all 7.5 hours of the day that I'm at work, minus my 1 hour additional lunch break, which i use for "me" time and walk laps around a lovely nearby fountain.
QOTD: Next week am off Thursday and Friday to go to DC and visit my family. My sister has a scheduled C-section Wednesday morning, and I want to be there to welcome my new baby niece. I'm also going to have lunch with a dear friend, and go to visit a company i used to work for that I still do freelance with.
I've not been doing the greatest in terms of menu. I've been sneaking 2-3 servings of carbs here and there the last 2-3 weeks and It has to stop. Below is the plan for today and I hope to stick to it.
Today's Menu (6.5 months):
Breakfast: Ricotta Pancakes & Sugar Free syrup
Snack: Premiere Protien Chocolate, Buddig Chicken
Lunch: Sinigang (Filipino Sour Soup with Pork ribs and veggies)
Snack: Coffee with Fairlife, 10 Cashews
Dinner: Meatballs/Marinara/Mozerella sprinkle, No Sugar Added Swiss Miss
Cal: 1020, Carb 49, Fat 43, Protien 98
Photo Friday:
Back in college I was always told I look like this one actress in the Philippines (who later became an MTV Asia VJ) named Donita Rose (LEFT):
I don't see how that at all but i was flattered none the less.
Below is a progress photo. The left was taken the night before surgery and the right is from this morning:
I still think i have a bit to go, but I do like doing this because I can see how much progress i've made. It makes you feel really good. Also, as you can see by how I'm accessorizing, my happiness and sass is back. Its also great to go to the gym and realize after losing close to 100 lbs that you can keep up with the classes with less issue. I've been feeling really good all around. I even got off the lexapro last month. Its been wonderful!
