What's on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
Good afternoon All,
The blizzard of 2017 is officially over in CT! Tons and piles of snow everywhere.
I haven't posted in a bit due to busyness but decided I need to get back in board.
A little bummed at weigh in this morning: 183.6 lbs. My weight fluctuates so much it drives me crazy.
I ate popcorn, some chocolate during the weekend days, so I did deviate from the original plan, but still ate
protein meals and veggies. I know I couldn't have eaten 3,500 calories at any given time, so this really stumps me. CLUELESS! Sometimes, I really want to give up with the entire eating plan! I know if I do that it would be a great disaster to my physical and mental health, though!
I just want to stay stable, and I want to be able to have some things I want to have also, like popcorn and a bit of dark chocolate.
I eat so much less that I don't even poop most days and when I do, it's very little (sorry for that TMI).
I am drinking lots more water, measuring food, etc. Can someone please give me some advice before I go !
Menu for today:
Coffee, coffee, coffee
BREAKFAST: I didn't even eat it yet! Not very hungry.. 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites, scrambled with 1/4 cup of shredded mozzerella cheese (part skim), 2 slices of crumbled bacon, part skim ricotta cheese (1 tbsp) & salsa
LUNCH: Today I'm going to have my oatmeal! (Defiant) 1/4 cup of steel cut oats, splash of 2% milk, 7 frozen blueberries.
DINNER: Broiled chicken wings (about 2-3 each), salad with romaine, red peppers, sweet onion, cukes, light italian dressing.
SNACK: Chobani Flips yogurt

Oh I hear you on the weight fluctuation. It is so frustrating.
I believe that I am more sensitive to carbs than the average person. I am not sure about you, but I just look at a cookie and I gain 3lbs. I have to keep carbs under 45g for days straight to lose anything, and that seems to be more important than calories for me. Are you tracking everything you eat into My Fitness Pal? It is a really invaluable resource for knowing what you are really eating. I have days when I think I have been "perfect" but it turns out that the yogurt was 24g of carbs by itself and it throws off the whole day.
Anyway, keep coming back! You will get this--we're rooting for you :)

I've noticed that a lot of people on here eat tuna w/ balsamic. Is that the dressing or straight vinegar?

Haha! When I was a kid, I ate liverwurst w/onion and mayo on rye with my dad all the time. I can't get past the smell now!
