Thinking of you guys today. Great job on planning/packing your meals. My hubby loves most hospital cafeteria food and eats at one across from his office 2-3 times a week.

I've been of the boards for the past few weeks. Why the hospital? Is your husband having WLS? (I assume it's not you having another surgery, because you couldn't be eating before anesthesia.)

btw, I love your avatar

Good morning guys!

Sore mouth this morning, tightening braces is no joke! We went and saw Logan last night and I'm dragging this morning...but I think it's both a combo of not getting to bed at the normal time and allergies kicking my butt. Last night driving home I was forced to admit that I need to schedule an eye appointment. I had lasik done 10 years ago, and for the most part my vision is perfectly fine....but I'm having trouble now in low-light/nighttime. When I had the lasik done my optometrist explained that as I get into my 40s (I turn 40 later this year) I will probably need reading glasses, and I suspect that my problems with driving at night are due to my eyes aging as they do. I'll be calling for an appointment later today once they open!

QOTD: As a parent I dislike DST....as a parent of a kid on the spectrum I loathe it because it mucks up my kiddo's routine and we spend several days out of sorts.

Menu:

Honestly...not sure about today, lots of soft foods that are on my liver-shrinking list. Greek Yogurt, SF pudding, Protein shakes. Anything that is easy on my mouth!

Have a great day everyone!

Kelsey

Hi yall

QOTD: I think it does mess with your body and your food stuff. I don't think there is a need for it anymore.

We are supposed to get a cold snap this weekend it has been just gorgeous lately here. Yesterday after work I planted some more radishes, sugar snap peas and carrots (the mid sized ones). I have atomic red ones and purple seeds coming in the mail- i cannot wait!! Also some broccoli and other awesome stuff. OH and my lettuce, radish, and spinach is starting to come up! I've never beena ble to grow anything before so I'm so happy about this.

Made spareribs and gizzards in IP yesterday, they were awesome.

Today's menu:

gizzards/coffee/tea/miralax/maybe a protein cake?

ribs

spinach

not sure what is for dinner guess i need to figure that out.

Weight is holding steady between 120/121 - I would LOVE to see 118 by the end of the month and will just keep chugging along.
