Protein Bars That Don't Cause Nausea?
You can most often find them at Whole Foods. I generally order them online (from Amazon). I believe if you go to the manufacturer's website you can order some sample packs for a fairly low cost (like packs of 3 different flavors).
You probably want to be careful and make sure you get the Nugo SLIMS. I believe there are regular Nugos that maybe higher in sugar/calories.

I think the suggestions above are great. One thing to note about dieticians and NUTS are they are trying to get you to eat a healthy lifestyle. Why not use our tool to it's full capacity for the full capacity until we reach our goal weight??? I think they push carbs too quickly. Most people will naturally start "tasting" stuff they know they shouldn't once they are cleared for regular food. Carbs slow weight loss. The hospital doesn't expect you to lose all your weight. Well those of us on this board, want to lose all of our weight. We don't want to settle for only a 70-80 percent weight loss. I have added healthy carbs back into my diet. I try to avoid processed food and white carbs. I do taste some unhealthy food, but I am about 98% good.
I had to make life changes. I have to cook food. In a pinch, I'll stop at fast food and have a burger w/o the bun and a diet drink if I don't have water in my car. This only happens about once every couple of months or when I am travelling. Before WLS, I only ate fast food and junk food. I seldom ate healthy food unless I was on a diet.
I plan and cook my lunches and dinners once per week. I have a lot of recipes available. I do keep protein bars and almonds in my car for emergencies.

Some people have experienced nausea when eating protein bars post op. Not everyone, but some. I personally would steer clear of them. They can become a gateway to regain or hinder weight loss, due to the carbs. I would suggest some on the go, portable options if you know you might be in a place where you won't get a sncak or have time to eat. Those can be done the night before and packed into ziplock baggies.
I used to travel a lot for my job and I flew all over. I did not want to rely on the snacks the airline provided, so I would crips up string cheese and turkey pepperoni and put them into ziplock baggies. They are easy to carry in your purse and do not have to be refrigerated.

I tolerate Oh Yeah One bars pretty well. Assuming you still want the topic to be answered. I use them on long driving trips in a pinch or if I get stuck at work due to an emergency. They aren't bad and aren't like some of the pseudo candy bars out there.
In your settings someplace, there's a vulgarity filter that picks up everything and filters it out!
took me a while to figure out.

That one took me awhile too. Some of them (see example above) are a pretty big stretch.
