Being Left Without the Babysitter
...and frustrated because I don't know what happened. 
Past and/or current OH members: I am thankful for what contributions were/are given so abundantly and freely. I continue to learn from newbies, veterans, spot-oners', off-basers', the thoughtful, and, yes, even the harshest. You are a researcher, Cjonorcas--no doubt you'll do just fine. I use my WLS medical team often for they need to be made aware of and learn from what patients struggle figuring out no matter how far post-op. We all do better when we all do better
Agree absolutely. So much valuable info here. I am a researcher... but I definitely need a support group and I really need to be reminded when I slip. The vets have been very good about that. Sometimes comes across as harsh but I have realized how accurate and caring their advice is at six months out. I could NEVER have done this without them. Feels like second nature now to reach for protein, and question carbs, but in the beginning it did not. I floundered a lot at the start.
Hoping for a good outcome. Nevertheless, I am reminded that it is time that I stepped up to the plate in their absence and pass on what I have learned from them to those new on the road.
And, who talked me down when I was going crazy with those shots? YOU ;) thanks!
The only thing I can add is that if you do feel unfairly moderated you can personally speak to member services ( unlike facebook and many other sites )
For me , emailing my protests and requests for relief and explanation did not work .. I rarely received replies back .
A personal short phone conversation cleared up the cause and I hope ( permanently) resolved the issue
Of course if this is some childish rejection of the BP refugees as Lipstick Lady suspects then all bets are off .
Honestly I truly welcome these folks' interesting input .. they're a little more direct and snarky .. good !
I'm all for good debate and an interesting site .
The vets will come back trust me .
