What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers - START OF AMAW/CAMAW!
Hi everyone! I am actually posting from my bariatric clinic this morning. I just passed my psych eval and now I am waiting on a cardiac coach metabolic test at 1:30. They actually came to get me early but I ate breakfast this morning and it has to be 3 hrs since you ate grrrr. They never have offered to see me early before so didn't even think of skipping breakfast! Good luck to everyone on AMAW ....sorry just not there yet.
As for today. .I did go to the gym this morning and had a P3 pack for breakfast. Lunch will be skipped because of this appointment. Dinner will be taco salad. I am down a couple of pounds this morning but worried because it puts me right below 40 but I am diabetic so hopefully my approval with insurance will be fine.

HW: 290ish Consult Weight: 262 Height: 5' 7''
Initial Consult: 12/9/16 RNY: 2/27/17
Not all insurances go by weight at time of request...Mine went by weight at first surgeon visit. My surgeon said diabetes, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure are the three co-morbidities they look for, for under 40 BMI.

You are so funny Alan! The meat stick is perfect, that's what meat week is all about Sir!!!
I'm glad I came home from Iowa last night instead of today as I'd originally planned - my DH went out to get the newspaper about an hour ago and said our driveway was like a skating rink. Yikes. I'm in bed with my bum ankle propped up (with an ice bag on it). I've seen several salt trucks go by (we live on a city bus route, so our residential street gets plowed and salted at the same time the main drags do, so we never have problems getting out - thank God!). Hopefully they'll have everything cleared today as DH has a 7:00 dentist appt tomorrow morning!!
I haven't done CAMAW/AMAW yet because like Karen, I really struggle with constipation issues, and also, I've been on a roll for a long time and am a little afraid to change things up (even though I'm sure I'd lose a few pounds with CAMAW/AMAW - but my head is in the right place and I'm really comfortable with my routine -and it works - so that's the part I don't want to mess around with too much...)
19 months out:
B: homemade Greek pumpkin yogurt with 1 T Kashi Crunch granola
S: double SF protein mocha shake
L: I'm thinking two hard-boiled eggs with coleslaw made with sesame-miso vinaigrette
D: the rest of the cassoulet
another Greek yogurt later if I can afford the calories (I'm having one of those days where all I want is protein shakes and Greek yogurt - must be some dairy fixation - who knows...)
