Other relative newbies?

Dear folks,

I am finding it very helpful to talk with other people who are in the early stages post-op who are going through the same things I am. Anyone else out there who's had surgery since, say, September or who's planning to have it in the near future who would like to chat?

Hi!

I'm also a newbie to OH. I'll be having my RNY surgery on Jan. 31. Just started my Optifast liquid diet 4 days ago.

I spend a big portion of my day going through the settings, adding info to my profile and reading a few posts here and there.

Can't wait to talk to others in early stages as well as the more experienced ones ;-)

Hi, I am also a newbie. Had my surgery December 21st. I have been on this site for awhile just reading. It took me two years before I was able to have my surgery. Due to insurance and other issues. But now I am grateful to have it done and over with.

Hi, four months post-op here. When I was new I read through the posts... there is a LOT of great informstion here! Also quitte a few who have just recently had surgery. Congratulations!

Hi,

I am going to be having surgery soon. I will have done all that my insurance requires in 9 days. So hopefully it will be early March at the latest. I also noticed on another post (if I remember correctly) that you are also from North Carolina, correct? I am about an hour West of Charlotte.
