Love Randy from a Christmas Story.

It is effing freezing here. My dogs are like you really expect me to go out there? Can't we just use the toilet like you?

Question of the day. I think I will never really retire. I know so many who do and they end up depressed and cranky. I haven't been working for a while now. I really don't like it. I feel like I have no purpose. I know we will move one day into a smaller house without too of a yard to clean up. We have about 2 acres which doesn't sound like a lot but it is when you have to maintain it.

My eating was horrible yesterday. I don't even want to post. It consisted of M&Ms and other **** I am paying for it today. I feel crappy.

But today I know I will not do what I did years ago. Just say EF it and not do anything and just continue with ****ty eating.

I am going to get off the computer and get a shower and go to the store and replenish my fridge. My husband is away so it is pretty much just me.

Today is a better day. I am getting my ass moving even though it is so cold out. It is colder than a witches tit in a brass brassiere.

B:Protein bar since my fridge is empty

L:Canned tuna since I know I have that

D:Cobb salad I know the one place in town has a great one. Going to cut all carbs out for a few days and white knuckle it.

Have a good day. Stay warm.

You know you can get back on track.  Shining light on things, so they are not secret:  That is what we all must do.  Good for you for being honest.

Hi all! Last day of the week as I'm off tomorrow!! I have a few doctor appts but other than that, I'm going to have a great day!!!

yesterday was our work party- happy to report I ate carrots, cauliflower, a grilled piece of chicken, and a bit of salad. I had one crumb of a cupcake and decided it wasn't worth it and didn't eat anymore. I did eat 2 tiny squares of my fudge yesterday. I did my yoga at night and went out for Indian food. I chose an appetizer and a main meal which will be leftovers today. Lamb and curry veg and chickpeas with cucumber.

QOTD: my DH is 8 years older than I am, so he will retiring while im still working and that will suck. Our next 5 year plan will be to sell our house, pair down belongings, and DH has already designed our tiny home (he is an interior designer). They are storage containers and there will be 3 I believe, one of which will be a laundry and our offices. Long term I would like to live near the water, maybe Orange beach AL area.

Today for food I'm having

B: egg whites/ CM yogurt/ Milk/ decaf

L: leftover indian

d: no idea will be flying home!!

Morning Gang!

It's also freezing here, I think we have the same basic weather, though we got about an inch of snow last night so the roads are pretty nasty today.  I was about 15 minutes late for work this morning, but I really had no option because I am limited to what time I can drop my little one off at daycare when I'm getting him in.  Tuesday's and Thursday's I can drop him off at my moms at 7, and I have to be to work at 8, and my GPS told me to go a different route than I normally do because of an accident, so it took forever to get to work.  Uggh, surface roads in the snow instead of the freeway just sucks.

QOTD:  I just tried to retire at 43.  It didn't work out financially, lol.  So, I'm back to work and plan to wor****il I can retire comfortably.  I have a small pension from my former job, and I have a 401k retirement account that I save in aggressively.  I put in 11% of my pay before taxes and my hubby puts in 14% of his pay before taxes, so when it's time to retire, barring any horrible meltdowns and economic collapse of our society, we should be okay when we retire.  I'd like to go to part time in 10 to 12 years when I'm in my mid 50's.  By then my youngest will be in high school and I'd like to be free to spend time, you know?  We'd also eventually like to move somewhere with a more temperate climate, but not too hot.  We were thinking North or South Carolina, or even out in the Pacific North-West.  We love Seattle and Portland and the weather there would make me happy.

16+ months since surgery

B: egg cup with bacon, tomatoes, onion and sharp cheddar.  Coffee with SF Coffeemate

L: Broiled Orange Roughy with steamed veg.  We're ordering from a local restaurant because our receptionist is leaving us next week.  I picked the healthiest thing on the menu.

D: Boneless chicken breast with baby brussels sprouts.  I was going to have this for dinner last night, but my hubby made a batch of chili and so I ate that instead.

S: Egg cup (as above), Light and Fit Greek Yogurt

Totals

Calories 872 Protein 111 carbs 35 Fat 34

Today is ugly sweater day at work and I'm dressed for it.  I'll have someone get a pic later.

Edited to finish my thoughts, lol.
