What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
My oldest believed until 6th grade and then I broke the news to him... A few weeks later we were driving somewhere, and the kids were talking about Easter. He looked over at me and said The Easter Bunny too? lol
Sadly his siblings were much younger when they figured it out.... but not because of him- he's been great at keeping that to himself. But I think my daughter was 10 when she told us - in tears- that she knew Santa wasn't real, and my youngest was 9 but didn't tell us until the next Christmas.
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning gang. I had a come to Jesus moment this morning when I got on the scale and it showed over 160 lbs. That's like 6 pounds up from my lowest weight and I am not happy with it or with myself right now.
So, I have my plan today and I am sticking to it. It's completely doable, but I know I will have to white knuckle it this weekend.
DD2QOTD: I remember always being excited for Christmas, but I don't really remember the gifts. It's funny, gifts always seemed like the thing, but when I think back I remember the times spent with family. Mostly, at my great grandmother's house on Christmas Eve with all of my cousins. Listening to Christmas music and hanging out in the basement. Cracking nuts with the nutcracker, and just the special times with my family. I remember snippets of toys, and clothes, but all in all the time spent is what really stands out to me.

Super busy at work today and on the phone with my hubby about my oldest son's IEP that he went to this morning.
My oldest son has an IEP as well. It's been a great help to him, and I'm happy to say that this last year of high school has been his best year- and he's going to college in September!
You can do this- you've done so well! xoxox

Good Morning, Menu Crew! It's been a few days since I've posted. We've been crazy busy at work and at home. We had a stock show this weekend, so last week was all preparation for all of that! I'm glad things have calmed down a little. I go for my two-week follow-up appointment tomorrow, and I think I've been doing well, but I have hit a stall. I've been fluctuating the same one pound for about 5 days now. I'm losing inches, just not pounds.
QOTD: My mom and dad were over-the-top with Christmas gifts. There were four of us, and I swear, they would spend $1000 on each kid. It was amazing. Best Christmas ever was when we got a Nintendo and a trampoline in one year. They were family gifts, so they belonged to everyone. It was great! We used that trampoline for years, and I still have the Nintendo stored away somewhere, too! My kids are still believers (the younger two, anyway), but now, they all want a new pair of boots. Boots for the oldest will cost me about $250, and I will have to take him to pick them out, so we will probably go on the 23rd and I'll wrap them and he can open them on the 24th. The magic is still there for the youngest, so I will have to play it by ear on that one. I've gotten a few small things from Santa, but nothing big yet. We shall see what all I can come up with.

Here's a picture of my little girl with her goat at the stock show this weekend. Funny little goat, she's smiling, too!

They are both adorable!
I totally want a goat for Christmas. Kind of impractical in the city, but I think they are so damn cute :)
