Hello everyone! My menu is still primarily protein shakes but for lunch I'll be adding a hard boiled egg with a tbs of hummus (you were right Pammieanne it's better than I remember it being) and I've got chili in the crock pot for dinner.

QOTD I guess one thing that might be unexpected from a 300+ lb female is the industry I worked in for over 18 years; landscape construction. Not in the office (although I did some of that too) but in the field, on job sites, laying interlocking stone, building retaining walls, fences, decks... whatever. Sometimes that required some heavy equipment so I can operate an excavator or a skid steer in addition to all the small equipment that comes with the job. I'm not one for monotony so I love the industry for the creative elements and the variety of opportunities and jobs. One of the long running jokes was how the public and new customers always assumed one of the guys was in charge. No one at work ever called me Christine so even when one of them would say "I don't know, you have to talk to Chris." they would just look to the next guy. Lol. Some of the worst were actually the elderly ladies who would get annoyed that a girl was sent to do a "mans job". It never really bothered me I would just smile and said "You're lucky you got me, I'll do it better than they will!" Since I'm in Canada and we can't build all year we would plow snow in the winter. I don't miss that part. In this moment as I sit in my warm kitchen watching the snow fall outside I smile knowing I'm not responsible for anything beyond my own driveway.

Have a great day everyone!

I'm super late replying today.  It was kind of a krummy day - 7 days post surgery.  I'm having difficulty only drinking 2 oz every 15 oz (I seriously want to drink much more water) and I'm super gassy.  So I only had a little protein shake this morning and some water and then a long nap.  Well then I was zapped because I hadn't consumed enough protein or liquids.  So I'm trying to catch up a little, but still trying not to drink too fast.

On a positive note, I would actual clothes today for the first time post surgery and walked outside twice today - short walks but something nonetheless.
