I didn't have a band revision, but I had RNY... I'm 51yo, and have an office job where I can mostly just sit. I had surgery on a monday, and went back to work a week and a day later. I did go back with shorter days (maybe 2 hours, but I do work 9 hour days). I would take a nap when I got home, but I was OK.

I don't know how much harder the revision is, but I would think it's going to depend on what you do, and how flexible they are, ya knoiw?

I did it after my band revision to rny. It's totally doable. Just will be very very tired and I needed to rest around 2 pm everyday

I'm not sure what type of work you do,  but ten days doesn't seem like much time to return to your job after a revision from band to bypass.  I had that procedure last month and will be off another three weeks,  returning on graduation hours.  I'm a nurse, working 12 hour shifts, so it would be easier if I had a less physically demanding job.  Or was much younger.  Still,  ten days doesn't seem like enough time if you're working full time and getting used to a new way of eating.
