I have a good friend that is going to come over when I get home and help me prep some things.

Had a great time Saturday night at my neice's engagement party. There was plenty of meat, and I only had a couple of pastry wrapped thingys and a slice and a half of rye bread. 1/2 cookie. Well it wouldn't be so bad but I was so sick Sunday morning with the runs... aye. I think it was because it was meats I don't normally eat, and fatty. Ham, Rack of lamb chops, duck, and some cheese.... Yeah.... no chicken is sight. I paid the piper.
Going to dinner in NYC tonight with my son's college roommate. He's my son from another Mother. He's from India and just got back after almost 2 years back in India. So excited to see him. Keeping it light today, as I don't know what dinner will bring, and not hungry right now, so going with it.

Elliptical tonight and I'm JOINING A GYM TOMORROW!
Hello everyoone! I have been reading your menus and stealing some recipes since before surgery. I have not joined, because I like to wing it and eat what I want when the mood hits. Doesn't that sound like a success story in the making. So...of course, I finally had a very bad week--not day--but week. So...I am now going to plan for success by planning my meals. I am late in the day, but my worst time for eating is after dinner so I need to be accountable.

I'm glad you will be joining us. I try to post everyday, though I know I miss occasionally. Personally, planning every meal is the only thing that keeps me on track. This thread helps keep me accountable.
They reshuffled my 3 month follow up to the 19th, have you gone for yours yet or are they bringing us all in together like they did for the 2 week?

Rollerskating? Sounds fun! I hadn't rollerskated since the 6th grade until last summer when we went to a roller rink to celebrate my BFF's 40th birthday. It was hilarious--not like riding a bike at all! I was falling all over the place, but it was fun nonetheless. I never thought about doing it at home for exercise! ;)
