SF pudding makes me really sick

I haven't had it since August, so tonight the family all had some as a treat after dinner.  I now feel horrible.  I'm nauseated and just generally feel icky. It had to be lactose tolerance because it only had 6 carbs.in never eating this crap again.

It was a sugar free chocolate snack pack. Has anyone ever had this reaction to sf pudding?

Lactose intolerance kicked in for me about four months after surgery.  If I have sugar-free pudding I make it with Lactaid milk.

Check the ingredients for sorbitol.  Jello brand uses sorbitol for their sugar free puddings.  It made me sick early on.

Oh no! I can't do the premade SF packs (made my stomach very upset- I think it's the sugar alcohol in it) but don't have any issues when I make it from the box. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, sugar alcohols if it's the premade stuff. Sorbitol, xylitol, anything that ends in -ol. That stuff kills me.

Sugar alcohols are deadly. I can't tolerate them AT ALL.

Maltitol is the one that totally does me in, with erithrotol (sp?) right behind.

Maltilol is baaaaad stuff for me, but I can handle erythriol with no problems-for now. I say for now because I used to be handle xylitol and now I can't. I wonder if it will cause me trouble later on.
