What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Welcome to Photo Friday...post 'em if ya got 'em!
Who's got awesome plans this weekend? My son is doing this Build 'em and Bust 'em bridge building competition with a couple of his buddies from school at the science museum tomorrow. Which means I have to be there all damn day surrounded by hundreds of kids. Yay. My favorite thing. But Sunday Matt's going to be out hunting so I get the house to mahself! Which really *is* my favorite thing. LOL
Who loves Aldi like me? I swear, they have so many things and I'm never disappointed. Last night I found these biscuit things that look just like these raisin cookies my mom used to buy. I haven't tried them yet, but I was pretty excited to throw them in the cart. They also have seasonal Greek yogurts; the cranberry is delicious! I may go back today just to wander around. LOL

Nothing fun this weekend just lots of fix it projects to get done around the house. Which also means lots of snark and sass from the teenagers. Yippee. Oh and don't forget chasing the toddler away from all the project tools. I might end up looking forward to work again on Monday by the time its all done

This is going to sound horrible, but I hated teenagers ...even when I was a teenager myself. Not much has changed! Haha I mean I LOVE my girls...but one is a drama queen and just invited it into her life. UGH The other doesnt get mixed up in the drama, but had the teenage "attitude" that drives me batty! Both are great kids, we could have it a LOT worse...but man...ugh...teens

Hi all, thanks for all your good thoughts about my dad. He's doing much better! Hopefully getting out of ICU today. His doctors and nurse are wonderful!
Never been to Aldi, but one just opened not to far from me. I'm curious. What are the best things to get there for our specialized diets?
B: leftover Chicken Parmesan (when your days are 24 hours long, what is breakfast, really, anyway?! Haha.)
S: Babybell and coffee with skim
L: dried salami
S: almonds
D: Pot Roast
S: cranberry thin addidtives and Greek yogurt
Exercise:
Seriously, I finally joined a gym and have only had time to go only once! Maybe tomorrow...
But I took a few long laps around the hospital yesterday and managed to get in 10,000 steps. I'll try to do the same, today.
Uh, everything. LOL Seriously, they have all the things; Greek yogurts ($.65), tons of fresh produce, chicken breast is $1.69/lb, eggs are $1.99/dozen, etc. And they just got in these chicken sausages, which I suspect are like the ones at TJs. I didn't have enough cash on me or I would've grabbed those, too. They also have a line called Fit and Active, which is exactly what is sounds like. LOL Go check it out!

Ooh, awesome. I'll try it! I swear I spend 1/2 my paycheck on Greek Yogurt. $.65 is great!
