Jumping on the RNY Train; Next Stop, Healthy Me!
Well, after some discussion, talking to my doctor, and research, I decided I'm going to have the RNY done after all, even though I originally wanted the sleeve. It's the only thing my insurance will cover anyway, but, I'm now officially on my way, woohoo! Still doing all my per-surgery requirements and I haven't been scheduled for surgery just yet, but I hope for late Dec, early Jan.
Welcome, Kitty! I am 14 years post op and feel that the RNY was and still is the best decision and surgery for me. While I have had some regain, I know that I still have my tool and can get back on track and lose what I have gained.
Be sure to keep us updated on your surgery date and holler if you have questions at anytime! That is what we are all here for!

I know the Sleeve is very popular, but I have no regrets choosing the Bypass. I remember it being scary and exciting at the same time. Enjoy the journey. Good Luck.
