I have waited to post here, sort of a next-step graduation in my mind. With that said, YaaaaaHooooo...I got the call yesterday! My RNY surgery is scheduled for the morning of 12/4. Color me very excited!!

67 yrs old, 4'10", BMI 31.8 (51.8 at start), HW 256.4 (8/4/15), SW 217.4, CW 152.8 (4/30/18), GW 125.0, RNY 12/4/15 Dr. RoseMarie Jones, Breast Cancer DX 2/16, Bi-lateral mastectomy 8/9/16.

Glad you are excited; when I got my WLS date, I spent wasted time trying to figure out how to get out of it---never did, though. You should have a Blessed Holiday Season like never before--peace and strength to you on your December 4th gift.

Thank you. As for photos, I don't know about that. I have stayed out the line of all cameras for years.

Once you start losing you will want to take photos. And, it is good to have them to show your progress. Even if you don't share with others, you can have them for yourself! :)

Hooray for the date! You will be well on your way by Christmas! Sounds like you will probably be on your pre-op diet over Thanksgiving. So I want to tell you that my surgery was Dec 29--so my pre-op diet was over Christmas. You can do it!
