Anyone have the Post-Op Diet they can post here?

I think I threw all my paperwork away but I'd like to know the diet details because they told us that if you start gaining (which I have), to start over again with the post-op diet. So I'm planning on doing just that...if I can find the diet!

Does anyone have the diet and could type it in and post it?

Thanks!

I haven't had my RNY yet, so this may be a stupid question. Can't you just go back to a SWL diet of high protein/low carb?

Google the "5-day-pouchTest" if you really want to go through the stages again. (Does not really test your pouch) Or look at "The World According to Egggface" blog, she has recipes for each stage.

Rather than that though why don't you go back to basics? Count your protein- minimum 60-80g a day (I would say minimum 80), minimum 64 oz of water/fluids, protein first, then veggies at every meal and snack and go cold turkey on the carbs for now, to get back on track. Weigh and measure what you are eating. No more than 3-4oz weighed protein. Use My Fitness Pal to keep a food diary if you are so inclined. Add a protein drink if that helps up your protein numbers.

Good advice! YouTube it, Google it... search it everywhere on the internet to tailor things to work for you within the Bariatric food lists and Bariatric meal plans. Within these lists you can find foods that you want and like which is gonna help you keep with your program. Yep and don't forget your vitamins, exercise, and water intake; daily.

PS... noticed I did not have or reference the word "diet?"
