What's on your Monday menu RNYers?
Morning! I've never worked any where that dresses up for Halloween...I guess everyplace I work is just uptight LOL. My weekend was ok, I did indulge in a 1/2 slice of pumpkin cheese cake, it was yummy, and I planned for it- no guilt. What I didn't plan for is dipping my hand in the potato chip bags a few times on Sunday...ugg.
Oh and I had the BEST experience shopping at Victoria Secret on Saturday. I seriously felt like Julia Roberts character did in Pretty Woman! As they said, I'm officially an "Angel" :-)

I ran in the zombiethon 5K this weekend. I dressed up as a cat. I thought all the runners would be in costume. I thought WRONG! I was almost the only one!!! Oh well, I was cute anyway. But I'm glad that whenever my next race is, I won't have a tail. I finished in 45 minutes, and walked about 5 of that. (I hadn't trained on hills!) I was very happy for my first time out.
For some reason, obesity help thinks this pic should be sideways...

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday (and for once I really mean that!). I am in a fantastic mood--just happy to be alive today, and so grateful for the beauty and friendship that surrounds me.
I am super Halloween costumes I have this year! For the first party I am going as "Kimmy Schmidt" from the Netflix show. I have light up sparkly high tops, a yellow cardigan and pink pants, with a backpack and a big smile. Love her!
My second costume is fancy sugar skull make up with a felt flower veil, while I wear all black. Gonna be a fun year!
Today I am 14 weeks post op and upon weigh in this morning, I am 137.2 lbs! This is 2 pounds lighter than I ever got with the band, and definitely the least I have ever weighed in my adult life. I am pretty psyched!
Here's what's on the menu today:
B: Babybell cheese
S: Mr. Cheese Os (I really should stop letting these in the house--I love them too much!)
L: Greek Yogurt
S: Trader Joes sliced turkey & Gouda cheese
D: Meatballs & tomato sauce and spinach
Exercise
Feel like I need to switch it up a bit... Elliptical, walking and running are my main sources. I quit yoga for a bit because I don't like the new teacher who teaches when I can go. But I need more strength and toning--especially fr my mid-section which is looking hella floppy right now!
But for today, I will go for my standard run through some wooded trails attached to the arboretum (around 1.5ish miles).
Hi mamata2- Love the idea of the holiday theme for Halloween! I'm keeping it simple and going as an imaginary number. I'll just put a name tag on with . Of course, I read somewhere that God is the square root of negative one, so if someone pipes up that little philosophical nugget when they see me, they win! LOL
