REALLY STRUGGLING

Am heading to the hospital tomorrow for hydration. Then if things remain the same next week I'm to see the surgeon to figure out what's going on. I was able to get more liquids in yesterday - 3 cups of water and a cup of soup. Better than the 1 cup of water the day before!!

I also find it really hard to drink in the morning when I get up. Anyone else have that issue? I have to wait a good hour before I can attempt to get anything down.

In the first few months after surgery, I could only drink warm or tepid things for several hours upon first awaking. Cold things made me sick.

Has the doctor prescribed you an anti-emetic?

Even now, I don't feel well if I eat first thing -- I need a warm drink to rev up the engine first.
