Hello and Happy Friday! Feeling loved by my peeps today that started celebrating Boss's day early!! Got a very nice sunny flower bouquet delivered yesterday and a starbucks gift card but the absolute best of all thing was my card...I must explain that some of my employees are remote and the card was sent to three cities and signed with heart felt messages by all of them (my cup runs over!!!) I do have a quick day at work today as my daughter has a volleyball tournament this afternoon so my dinner is up in the air at the moment. Congrats in the weight loss!! good morning! I like to think that I am somewhat technology savvy, but I hate transfering pictures! lol. I'm feeling awesome today, first of all my dearest husband has been an absolute dream. When I was at my heaviest and my self esteem was in the toilet, i didn't like him being too touchy feely with me, because I felt icky all of the time. He had gotten used to not being affectionate randomly throughout the day, and I was okay with it then. Lately, I had been feeling so much better about myself, I feel so much sexier, and I really wanted him to start being more affectionate with me, but after all this time, how do you bring up such a touchy subject? I get embarrassed, and it's still sometimes hard for me to ask for something that I need. Damn my emotional issues. Anyway, I decided that it was really important, but I wasn't able to say the words to him, so I sent him an email explaining. He responded with a simple "I will try". Since that day, my marriage has completely changed. I have always loved my husband, and we weren't nessecarily having problems, but we were in that rut that you get into after years together. Now everything is spicy again and I'm so happy with where I am right now.

But since I'm pouring my heart out on the internet, I'll be honest and say deep inside I'm terrified that I haven't lost enough weight, and that I won't get down to my goal. I worry that I am losing too slowly, and I'm afraid of failing. But I'm sticking to plan, and I know I'll be better off in the end, regardless of if I get to my exact goal, or I just lose enough to be healthier (which I've already done!).

Food:

B: Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Strawberry Yogurt and cream

L: pork chops, steamed cauliflower and a tiny bit of fried potatoes and onions.

D: Slow cooker pork roast with brussels sprouts.

S: hunters sausage, sharp cheddar cheese, and some shrimp.

totals:

Cal 808 Protein 80 carbs 30!!! Fat 40

Also, this picture was taken this morning. I ordered this mascara from Younique Lash on some virtual party one of my friends is having on facebook. My eye lashes are short and sparse, so I thought I would check them out. I love this stuff. this was my first try using it.

That's awesome, AV!

I'd post a picture, but it's just the same face photos- I haven't been noticing any changes in the past two weeks, and since I haven't been able to exercise, I haven't been able to get on the scale... needless to say, I think I may have hit a stall.

I did stray from my eats yesterday- I wound up meeting a friend for dinner. I had tomato soup, my protein shake, grilled duck medallions, one fried oyster and two bites of mac and cheese. Not too shabby (aside from the carb factor), but I don't know what the cals are.

2 months and 19 days since surgery

B: Coffee

S: Protein shake (Pure Protein- Never tried it before!)

L: Tomato soup

This pic is from last week when I was doing official duties. I am President of a non-profit Mental Health Agency and last week was Mental Health Awareness Week. I am showing off the arm bands that say 'Mental health Matters'. So there were all these events in 2 counties and I had to buy clothes because I had to look decent and I couldn't repeat because I knew there would be pics taken and I might see the same people at each event. A nice problem but $$. I found a nice pair of Calvin Klein dress pants at TJ Maxx and my girlfriend told me to go to NY and CO as they have Tall pants in store. I ended up with 2 more pairs didn't do badly but between that and having really nothing from last year... and I am not changing sizes as quickly so feel I can spend a little more.

B: 2 egg muffins, tea

S: Fit Frappe Mocha

L: Peanut Butter and carrots

S: Chicken Salad Cup (Cost****need to eat before teaching as it is right at dinner time.)

D: Chicken and mashed butternut Squash

Have a crazy weekend... teaching a painting class tonight at the Library, Baby shower in AM then Chili Cook-off fundraiser in afternoon. Church and then there was another Baby Shower but I am just sending a gift, need to go home and collapse... not going to Jackson Heights Queens...
