What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Ugh Tuesday. I know this is such a stupid, minute #WLSproblem, but I didn't log into MyFitnessPal last Thursday (the day of my arm lift) since I wasn't allowed to eat or drink, so today the stupid app told me I had logged in for "five days in a row!". Damnit, I was logging in religiously for a year. Oh well, what a stupid complaint lol.
Five days post-op from my armlift...I am itchy as all hell - not sure if it's the incisions or the Vicodin or what, but I could scratch my arm skin off - luckily it's all wrapped up! I am nervous about the warm weather of the next two days. The only thing that fits over my swollen wrapped up arms is a hoodie, which is a strange look for a 75 degree day :)
Time Since Surgery: 22+ months
B: Two coffees with low fat half and half, 2 deviled eggs
L: Whole Foods lemon and thyme salmon cake, cucumber salad my mom made (thinly sliced kirby cucumbers, diced onion, and a sauce that is half light mayo, half light sour cream, red wine vinegar, garlic powder. It's one of my favorite foods!)
S: Chips and guac
D: Same as lunch
Totals are 1,250 calories, 60 g protein, 65 g carbs UGH
No exercise allowed, though I have gotten 10,000 steps since day 2 post-op so I will go take a stroll around the neighborhood (slowly and carefully)
Thank god I am healing well you guys - I have to go to Orlando for work in 11 days, and a week later to Rome, and from Rome to London (for vacation). I am going to be relying on the kindness of strangers to lift my bags for me :)
Have a great day, all!
So glad you are on the road to recovery. And posting. Damn MFP that stinks

I may or may not have had to do it when I spent the weekend at my Dad's "House Without WiFi". LOL
That is SO annoying, Em! There IS something powerful about that streak - seriously! When I broke my 300+ day streak it has now been much easier for me "justify" not tracking for a day or the weekend...stupid head.
Most annoying when I originally broke my streak it was so stupid because I had PREPLANNED everything for the day, but never logged in - I just assumed if there was STUFF ON THAT DAY it counted for your streak, but it's actually logging into the website or the app that count - so it wasn't even like I skipped logging my food for that day - boo!
