I had a good day food wise yesterday, except I swapped out my hunter sausage snack for popcorn last night. It upped my carbs to 60 and lowered my protein to 62, but I still made the 60 gram total that my NUT recommends. I always want to get more protein, but I'll always be happy with at least 60 grams.

I'm feeling better today. After the news of my mom I got really depressed yesterday and ended up leaving work early. It was nice to beat the rush hour home and have some time to hang out with my guys and take my time making dinner, instead of rushing to get everyone fed. I started a baby afghan for my sister in law, who is due in December. I was hoping to bust it out by the shower, which is November 8th, but I think I am making it too large to try to get it done in time. I'll post a pic of it on Friday, it's a basic shell crochet stitch. I used to crochet all the time, but once I got pregnant with my little one I started falling asleep everytime I'd pick up a hook, it's nice to be able to stay awake and be productive. I love making things.

Also, I'm losing like mad this week. It seems like every time I get on the scale, I'm down more. I'm excited, since I'm coming off a 5 day stall (I think it's got to do with premenstrual water retention, I'm seeing a pattern with monthly stalls).

I reached out to my pre-op bariatric psychologist and asked her for a referral for therapy. they had given me one on the day of my psych exam, but I've somehow misplaced all of the loose papers that were in my bariatric binder. I've decided to stop seeing my chiropractor, and start seeing a therapist (it's a money issue). I think my head is in greater need of fixing than my back at this point.

okay, enough rambling, let us get down to the nitty gritty:

B: Mixed Berry Triple Zero yogurt and coffee (half-caf today) with sugar free vanilla creamer

L: chicken salad, giardiniera, Wasa Rye Crisps

Whoo-hoo. I think I have found a balance with the water pill issue-I take 1/2 a HCTZ once a week and that seems to help.

Today I'm feeling GREAT. Got some compliments yesterday that motivated me to leave the Halloween candy alone. I'm wear a $5 thrift store skirt, and $12 Kohl's sweater I love dressing for less then $20 an outfit. Sized L and XL respectively.... WOW...just WOW.

Time since surgery: alomost 6 months

B: 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, 3 slices Virginia Ham. (and 4 tater tots stolen from my son)

S: apple and/or yogurt

L: Steak, and broccoli/cauliflower medley. (Stolen from my husband LOL)

D: ?? maybe left over curry chicken. I did ok with it last night-- My stomach tolerated it-- but I did hear some rumbling-- so it wasn't 100% pleased. Other wise, maybe fish.
