What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Stupid, Monday. Stupid, Tuesday.
So the fiasco of yesterday's super high BP continued. My primary squeezed me in at the end of the day and it was still very high. She almost sent me to the ER, but after a little bit of talking and drinking water, she rechecked it several times and it was going down. By the time I was leaving it was high, but not ER high - so she gave me a beta-blocker script, orders for labs to make sure my kidney function is ok, and sent me home to rehydrate because a quick urine dip showed I was really dehydrated (which looking back I def was, Sunday was a weird day and I didn't drink much and then yesterday I had coffee in the AM and that was about it because I was in panic mode).
This morning my BP is back down to normal levels. So weird.
