Tuesday. We meet again. I won't let you bring me down today! LMAO

So, food-wise yesterday was a wash. Carbs beget more carbs, etc., etc. After my bagel breakfast, there was cornbread with my chili at lunch and then at dinner I had a baked potato. A whole (delicious) baked potato. WTF, self? Today's planned menu is a little more moderate and I'm sticking to it, dammit!

Time since surgery: 15 months

B: coffee and a Chobani Pumpkin Spice yogurt with 1/4 oz of sunflower seeds

S: a piece of the zucchini bread I made on Saturday. Shut up.

L: Buffalo chicken salad with 34 degree rosemary crackers and a cheese stick

D: scrambled egg/egg whites, slice of sharp cheddar and a piece of light multigrain toast

TOTALS: Cals: 860 Protein: 72 Carbs: 58 Fat: 34

Screw you, Tuesday!

Yup I followed up my cruddy breakfast with eating some chips for the first (and last time). I was in so much pain! It felt like my insides were splitting in half. What the heck caused that?! Seriously. Well at least I learned a valuable lesson. NO CHIPS.

B-mini sausage biscuit

S-pb and bananna

L-chicken in mushroom sauce

S-strawberries dipped in SF chocolate pudding---this is probably my new favorite thing in the whole wide world.

D-I'm seriously craving an omlet so probably that. or maybe the omlet for lunch and chicken for dinner who knows.

Cool whip used to make a chocolate flavor, that I LOVED to dip (who'm I'd kidding, I coated them, lol) my strawberries in. I wish they still made it.

Yes indeed, SCREW YOU TUESDAY! I did better on plan yesterday than I have in a week and a half. Yes, my carbs were high but so was my protein. I ended up running 5 miles at lunch which is my longest run since Augusta (eekk). It felt really good and I felt strong which reminds me why I like to exercise. OK, so I have a strange question, do any of you read blogs from WLS peeps? I started on a long time ago but haven't kept it up. I was thinking of restarting it now to chronicle my journey to my full Ironman. Would any of you read it? I know I should just do it for myself to look back on but I feel funny writing to no one.

I don't religiously follow any of the WLS blogs anymore, but I definitely did when I was earlier on - though I tended towards the ones that had a lot of recipes (Hello, Eggface).

That being said, I think something like you're talking about would definitely find a following - totally inspirational and if it's a little how-to-ish (not like I'm a "trained professional" this is what you should do but like a real person look) then YES! I think it would definitely be an awesome read.
