Geez, K, what a pain! How was the apple fest? I had a fun time at the one I ventured to and meeting the beau's parents was lovely. They were very sweet and his mom is super personable. She reminded me a lot of my own mother...interesting.

Have an evening meeting tonight, so I'm going into work a bit later than usual. That made for a more leisurely workout than normal, walking to get a coffee at Wawa, and some time to do a few chores. I may or may not now be knitting obsessively.

Time since surgery: 18 months

B: coffee with creamer, a omelet made with Eggbeaters, turkey sausage, and goat cheese

S: ricotta

L: egg salad (so many eggs today!) and string cheese

S: cottage cheese and a turkey stick

D: TJ's turkey meatballs with sauce and mozz

S: Quest bar while I'm at a meeting - trying to keep my protein over 100 this week - a Chobani tube when I get home

TOTALS: Calories 1168, Protein 109, Carbs 58, Fat 55

V/W: started

E: Sore to the Core, yoga

Lately I've been feeling really stiff, so I've been trying to do yoga a few times a week. I've downloaded and tried out several yoga apps and I want to give a shout out to Fit Star Yoga, which I think I like best of the apps since it links directly to MFP. Word to the wise if you try it - the in-app music sorta sucks, but you can turn it off and play your own from where ever - I favor the Yoga Today Spotify playlist.

That sucks AV! I hate when that happens. I have definitely been in a funk since my half ironman. I just can't get motivated. Maybe I need to register for a race, maybe a half marathon. I need something to get me going. I am also embarking on a low carb week. I know we are always supposed to be low carb but I never hold myself strictly to that if my protein and sugars are in check. This week I'm going to try to keep my carb below 40 every day. I need to flush out my carb cravings which are out of control!

Time since surgery: 15+ months

B: Coffee with cream and SF pumpkin spice syrup :) Turkey cheddarwurst

S: String cheese and coffee

L: Chicken drumsticks

S: Iced coffee with cream and almonds

D: Cheeseburger no bun

Post workout: Protein shake

S: No sugar added popsicle

W/V: Started

E: 5 mile run (come hell or high water!!)

Totals: 1140 Calories, Protein 89, Carbs 34, Fat 71

Have a great day all!

I hope the funk finds it's way to someone else STAT. Maybe try a new workout or buy new activewear (Oh my! speaking of activewear-have you seen the funny (at least I thought it was)Youtube video regarding wearing activewear for everyday outings??
