I'm noticing it when I lay in bed. My butt and my hips. Makes me want to splurge on one of those crazy zillion dollar, remote control, firm-adjusting beds!

I have a back issues, and long time ago I bought a special chair. It was expensive...but I have it for 10 years, and it still works great.

I also just ordered a conversion -standing desk. I hope I would be able to get from sitting to standing as needs.

Friendly warning if you are thinking about switching from a chair to a ball: out of annoyance, my DD got rid of her office ball because male co-workers would not stop kicking it when she was sitting on it or not. She tried complaining to my DH, her father, only to hear him say, "I'd kick it, too."

I tried the ball, but it was too bulky and too big for me.

As for your daughter - I probably would kick the co-worker... In the shin... Really..

I'm 6 years out and still have this problem. Foam pillows don't help me. I get neck pillows ( U shaped) filled with flax or plastic pellets. I place them in the chair with the U shaped opening at the back of the chair. I use this at work, driving, at home and even have one in my bed ( I sleep with my head elevated - so there is pressure on my ****yx).

The flax/pellet neck pillows are harder to find but they last for years.

Best wishes,

Penny

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions. If nothing else, at least I know I'm not alone with the problem. I hope it DOES get better with time... I'd hate to have to consider a Kardashian butt implant! LOL!
