Good morning all! An early post for me. I'm actually ditching work this morning to go to a sample sale! Hopefully I can find some clothes that will work for winter! I was told to wear easy to get out of clothes so I have on a pair of Guess skinny jeans, a blue cami and a sheer white blouse with little blue flowers on it. It is definitely not cold today with highs expected in the 100's. My food plan is totally up in the air. We're planning on brunch after the sale.

B: eggs of some sort

s: light and fit with PB2

L: chicken and mixed veggies

S: somersaults and a pear

D:?????

No totals since there are so many holes in my

menu! Have a great weekend everyone!

I can't be bothered trying to figure out the photo upload...so I'll just describe. My boss is off today so I went bold and wore jeans :-) I've got on dark wash Old Navy jeans, gray/charcoal V-neck 3/4 sleeve Gap blouse and ankle height grey boots. Wig of choice today is short and curly (aka short n' sassy)

Time since surgery 5+ months

B: 2 scrambled eggs, Velveeta cheese and bologna. (I didn't finish this b/c bologna is hard for me to digest (too fatty) but I got so sick of ham, i needed to change things up.)

S: Vanilla Yogurt and granola

L: leftovers, split chicken breast with veggies: Despite cooking this in the crock pot this came out pretty dry and was hard to eat last night. I may opt for something else.

D: ?? I think I'm going to pick up hamburgers; I've been eating chicken all week and may soon start clucking.

Weekend: replacing the damaged carpet in our basement and getting it cleaned/organized.

My office is totally casual so every day is jeans day. Makes it really difficult when you feel like dressing down. I mean, how casual can I go???

Good morning! I'm fairly certain I have a sinus infection (YUCK) but I am feeling slightly better today. I ended up going home sick just after lunch yesterday. Thank goodness for sick time. I think I have been treating my body pretty crappy lately and it finally decided it has had enough. Therefore I decided today would be a "do what your body wants to do" kind of day. I'm going to eat what i want, exercise if I'm up to it and relax if I'm not. We have our Alumni weekend for high school this weekend. My hubbie and I are going up tonight (we were high school sweethearts) and I will be there tomorrow morning for a board meeting but otherwise my weekend should be pretty chill.

Time since surgery: 15+ months

B: Coffee with cream, 1 Granola pancake with almond butter and real maple syrup (totally off plan)

S: Coffee and Tropical Trail mix

L: Soup - I must find soup!

S: Sugar-free latte

D: Hor dourves and wine (again off plan)

W/V: Started

E: Unknown

**This is not a model menu, nor am I expecting good results. I am being real and I will deal with the consequences.

I'm learning to realize that some days I'm just not going to be the model Bariatric patient and it's OK as long as I acknowledge what I'm doing and don't make a habit of it. We all have those days. Hope you feel better and treat yourself well!

Happy Friday! Rushing this morning as I started work early so I can leave early to head to my girls volleyball game this afternoon (it will be 92 while we are out there!! too hot) I am going to attempt to post a pic from last weekends 5k...not sure I can figure out how with the updates....(I couldn't figure it out at the moment and I gotta rush to get to some reports done!)

Weekend plans, well we have to get our garage door hinges repaired and hoping that solves the issue that has been iffy for a few months. I am thinking I might try and squeeze in a long walk in prep for my 1/2 marathon that is only 3 weeks away from Sunday. The Apple fest sounds fun-we have the fair in town but I think we are going to pass this year...again it's too hot and my girl went with school yesterday so I don't feel too bad.

Time since surgery: 1 year + 1 month

L: Cloud bread turkey sandwich with a slice of cheese, baby carrots with hummus and blueberry ricotta bake

D: Chipotle steak salad and chips

E: 45 mins stepper

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1137 Protein:94 Carbs:112 Fat:41

YAY! 1/2 Marathon! I miss the heat already, these 40 degree mornings are too cold and it will only get colder from here!

I need this cloud bread you all speak of...
